As Luck began making her way back to the Plasma Frigate, something caught her eye. It was a duo of Plasma grunts, one of them helping the other one get back on their feet, it appeared that their leg was severely injured. Pokéballs were on the floor as there was also a struggling Deino helping them up.
"Ma'am! Are you okay?" they both stated, having more concern over higher ups than themselves.
"I'm fine, but that's not the point. Grunts, what's happened?" She rushed to their side, the two of them looking to her. The one that was being held began to speak.
"It was that trainer, he was a lot stronger than we thought." the admin hung the fallen grunt's arm around her shoulders.
"You can explain to me on the way back, for now we need to get you to medical attention." she turned her glance to the other grunt, "I'll take her back, tell and escort the other grunts to get back onto the ship immediately."
With no other words, the grunt nods as they begin to search through the forest for any stragglers. The other two started to walk across the ice sprinkled grass. Luck looked back at the Deino, who was walking at a much slower pace than them.
"I think you should return your Pokémon, they seem very weakened." the female grunt nods, grabbing the device from their belt and returning them. But, they got out, insisting on wanting to help them.
There was a slight lowering of the brows from the admin, shifting her glance to the other, "You're Pokémon seems like they want to assist you."
They look down to their partner, walking alongside them, even though they were tripping over themselves. "I always feel bad, because I don't give them anything in return."
The other girl's eyes widen a bit, she hasn't heard anyone give sympathy to their Pokémon in Plasma at all. A small smile curved from underneath her mask, despite this, she spoke on a more serious tone. "They understand what you're going through, knowing that now isn't the right time. But they'll be there for you, even if you treat them badly at first. It's... funny."
They nod, looking up to see that they were now in clear view of the ship.
The two of them maneuvered through the top deck and down to the lower sections. Travelling to the first aid room to fix up their injury. Although not proficient within the medical department, Luck had to make due with what she knew.
"Tell me what happened while you were out there." the Plasma admin stated, putting some pressure on the wound to stop the blood flow.
"I tried my best to fend the trainer off, using my Pokémon to deal with him. But quickly my other Deino and Sneasel both went down. He was using that Lucario of his to his fullest advantage." the grunt grimaced, looking to the Irate Pokémon.
"When he was about to finish off the last Deino, I couldn't let them take him down so mercilessly. I jumped in the way right when that Aura Sphere launched. That's why my leg got so badly hurt." the gauze was now being wrapped around the leg, as tightly as it could've been.
"The boy just stood there, I was ready for anything that he was going to do next. But he just returned his Pokémon back, and walked off without saying or doing anything else. It wasn't until another grunt showed up did I get a chance to stand back up."
Luck scowled at those last lines, "That's not mercy, it was pity."
She gets up from her kneeling position, helping the other get up from their seat. Finally the Pokémon was able to get back into their Pokéball for rest.
