I reach my hand over to the silver color table and picked up the heavy thick book.

"Jesus Christ, this book looks ancient despite being a new popular book..." I mumbled to myself.

I always talk to myself.

...

Don't give me that look, you know damn well you also talk to yourself when your alone.

The cover was pretty normal, looks like those covers you'll see in those romance harem group hat with all the male leads surrounding the innocent little heroine.

And of course, her beautiful angelic smile that'll make the male leads swoon for her and obey her every commends and wishes.

It's disgusting on how they thirst over a girl who LITERALLY LOOKS LIKE A ELEVEN YEAR CHILD.

And it's so stupid, why flirt with all of them? JUST PICK ONE.

I UNDERSTAND THEIR ALL GOOD LOOKING BUT PICK A SIDE.

DO YOU WANT THE HOT ELF?

DO YOU WANT YOUR OWN BUNNY LOOKING BUTLER?

DO YOU WANT THE CHILDISH PRINCE?

DO YOU WANT THE SEXY VAMPIRE PRINCE?

OR DO YOU WANT THE ADORABLE FACE OF YOU BEST FRIEND.

MY LADY YOU GOT THE WHOLE SQUAD.

YOU EVEN GOT YOUR GIRL BESTIE LOOKING AT YOU.

Ugh so god damn lucky.

Oh shoot, stop getting distracted Yury.

Shaking my head, I open the book and started reading the first chapter at a normal pace.

(Story)

Everyone is born differently.

Different skin colors.

Different eyes color

Different hair color.

Different voice.

Different body.

Different family.

And different friends.

So what made everybody special?

Why were they special?

Because of the blessings of the gods.

The gods will always send their blessing to the world, a blessing that many will die to have.

What was the blessing?

Magic.

The power to kill.

The power to steal.

The power to protect.

A powerful spell. Just enough to wipe out an entire place.

Why was it a blessing to the humans and non humans?

Because they were weak.

Barley able to defend themselves unless proper training was done.

Can't kill an evil being without getting eaten by a goblin.

They were weak.

So the gods pity the poor and weak humans.

The first ever person to receive magic was a commoner. A basic man who sells clothes with his wife and two kids.

Everybody thought the man was a god!

A witch!

A demon!

A angel!

Then sooner later into the future, magic became more and even more common.

Fire.

Water.

Nature.

Ice.

Poison.

Beauty.

Light.

Dark.

Thunder.

Creativity.

And many more.

Fire was the most common element you will receive as a small child.

Water was right behind fire.

Along with nature.

Each children will receive their magical power(s) at the age of 5.

An average person will get one.

An noble will have a chance to get two.

And a royalty will receive two or three.

There's no four.

Never will be four.

Dark and the light.

These two will never get along.

If you're born with a light element, you will be a church saint. A pure saint who's job is to heal and purify the sins of people who enters.

If you're born with a dark element, you'll be treated as an evil demon. A future bad guy.

Why was the light full of beautiful blue sky?

Why wasn't the dark fulled with kindness?

Nobody knows, nobody dares to speak or ask about it.

It's how the gods made it, who dares to question a god?

You'll ever be so foolish to speak ill about a god.

With the sayings of

"May the gods know about your thousand lies!"

"May you be struck to death!"

"May god punished those with a thousand whips!"

But in end, humans and non humans still get along.

And story begins with a little light element girl.

(Story ends)

Woah. First chapter and this is hella good.

Haru sure wasn't lying when he said I'll love this book.

I wanted to continue reading but my sleepiness got the better of me.

I placed down the book back to the table and adjust myself in the blackest to get all nice and cozy.

Closing my eyes, I slept a dreamless sleep.
