BABY ROBERTS LAUGHED AS SHE watched Manny Santos do jumping jacks for Emma's science project. The blonde girl would have helped, but she definitely doesn't exercise unless she has to
"How many?" Manny asked, leaning against her knees, out of breath.
"48. Thats 14 more than last week when you were eating junk." Emma noted
Baby started to peel an orange when Emma groaned, loudly, "Ugh. Every time I turn around, there he is. At home, school."
"Can you ever get too much Mr. Simpson?" Baby teased, laughing at the tall girl
"Uh, yeah. He came over, again, for dinner last night. And guess what he asked me?" She spoke, pulling her two friend's interests in
"What?" Manny quizzed
"If I had any hot dates this weekend." Emma gagged
"Ew. Gross." Baby groaned, shaking her head in disgust
"You want grosser? He wants me to call him by his first name. Archie." Emma complained
"Hm. Does that make your mom Betty?" Manny teased
"I always thought she was more of a Veronica type." Emma said before continuing to blend her smoothie.

"ALRIGHT. REMEMBER THE SCIENCE fair is tomorrow at nine sharp." Mrs. H minded the class, as she walked around the science room.
JT and Baby looked at each other, before giggling because his hands were covered in his project materials, "Looks like some of you are almost finished. And looking around the room it looks like some of you are lagging behind. Does anyone need any help?"
"Uh, yes please." JT begged, picking up his blender filled with goop.
"Good luck." Baby laughed, before walking over towards Emma, Manny, and Toby.
"Em, your project is gonna be so awesome. I can't believe how much work you did. You are so gonna win." Manny complimented, while Baby helped her put a robot head on Toby.
"Um, no. My project on the effects of light deprivation on household plants is so detailed, so thorough it impresses even me." Liberty bragged
"Don't let her bug you." Baby spoke up, rolling her eyes at the Van Zandt girl
"It's not her. It's my project. It's not working. Two of the kids did better eating junk food." Emma complained
"Really? Who?" The Roberts girl asked, honestly shocked by the information
"Spinner Mason and guess who else?" Emma said, making the blonde laugh that her boyfriend and best friend were both mutants.
"Of course it didn't work on, JT. He's practically made of junk." Baby insisted, shaking her head as he spilt some of his science project in the teacher
