BABY DOODLED IN HER NOTEBOOK, stuck between JT and Manny, while their English teacher talked about romance.
"C.S. Lewis called romance the religion of love, but for many writers romance isn't so simple. It is often a confusing experience." Mrs. Kwan explained to the class
Baby looked over at JT who was picking his ear with a pencil. She smacked him with her book to get him to stop.
Suddenly, a knock sounded on the door and Craig walked in. He tried to get Manny's attention because she was blocking the thing he needed.
She looked as if she was in some kind of daydream, so the blonde girl lightly smacked her cheek. She shook her head and moved for Craig.
After English, the students moved to homeroom where they waited to surprise Mr. Simpson
"He's coming!" Emma cheered, racing away from the door
"Mr. Simpson. Something terrible has happened to your computer." Toby groaned when the older man walked in
"Ugh. JT did you email me naked baboon pictures, again?" Mr. Simpson asked, rushing to his computer
"It's really bad. I think your computer has a virus." Emma added on to the lie
He clicked on his screen, and an animation showing Mr. Simpson and Emma's mom on top of a wedding cake popped up, "You had me going. Who did this?"
Toby lifted his hand with a smile, while Emma turned to Mr. Simpson, "So you're not upset I told everyone you and Mom got engaged?"
"No. It's sweet. Thank you." He complimented
"But how does it feel, Mr. Simpson. I mean, to find your one true love?" Manny asked
"Well. I just hope one day you all find someone who truly makes you happy." He said
"Yeah. Britney Spears." JT nodded as the class walked back to their seats
"The ring is so nice. It's a diamond solitaire with a platinum setting. Mr. Simpson let me help him pick it out." Emma spoke to her girl friends as they walked down the hallway
"Ooh. Fancy." Baby complimented, despite not really knowing anything about engagement rings
"He checked with you before he proposed?" Manny asked
"No. Because Mr. Simpson didn't propose. My mom did." Emma smiled
