“I know, I know.” I cut her off. She wasn't bothered instead she liked my mood. She likes how pissed I am. “Where are you going anyway?” I asked as I started the engine and drove.
“Garage,” she boastfully checked her nails. I almost throw up from her words. “Garage!? But it's not for you, that's for…er…for my age.”
She looked at me and arched a brow. She let out an annoyed sighed and looked at me, “Daddy said I can get whatever I want.” she was being too stubborn, if abusing a child wasn't illegal, this child right here is already at her ‘sparkly coffin’.
“Alright, then. After I'll drop you there, I'll go home. I'm not gonna be your driver for the rest of the day…”
“Uh, did Daddy didn't mention about picking me and sending me home ‘safely’ back to my house? That's weird.” she was testing my patience. I hope God's in my side right now, my step-sister is really getting annoying.
“Psh, I don't care if you'll get kidnap…” I muttered and stopped right in front of the store. She let out a content smile and a sigh. She opened her door and went out. I have to follow her or else Dad would flip out and I might go in jail if Eliz will get kidnap. In fact, I would just hire someone right now for her, but no, My dad wants me to drive her around the city so I can ‘value’ her presence.
I entered the loud store, it is loud from this non-retro music— Ironically, most clothes here are retro and what do they call this? ‘Aesthetic’? Psh, they probably haven't met Conan Gray yet. I look at Liz's walking figure, roam around the stalls she picked up countless of clothes. W-what? All she needs is one pair of the same clothing- why does she need thousands? “Y/n? Could you hold this for a moment? My hands are getting sore, they're far too heavy.”
Yeah, right. I rolled my eyes and extended my arms for me to hold the clothes. She gave it to me and she begins to roam more around the store. As an adult, I followed her. “What do you think is nicer? The pink crop top or the blue one?” she alternately held the clothes in front of her, too see if one of them look nice on her.
“Are you sure dad wants you to buy these kinds of stuff?” I asked suspiciously.
“Of course, Dad loves me.”
I gulped down at her words, she was looking at the clothes she wanted to buy–While I looked at her as if she's the worst humankind God has ever created. “I'll just buy both, it hurts no one, right?” She was talking to herself.
“What do you want, Y/n? Do you wanna buy anything?” Liz stated, checking one of the racks. I sighed and look at the store– there's nothing good here. It's full of common fashion. “Nah I'm good.”
“Good, I don't want to pay whatever you wanna pick anyway.” She rudely stated. I looked at her with an intense glare as she looks down at the shorts– eyes filled with triumphantly.
