What is Family for you? Your parents? Your cousins? Your relatives? What else? Just them?, so what is the meaning of family? According to Merriam Webster 'family is a group of people who related to each other' but for me, family is not just your parents or sa mga relatives mo, for others pag kadugo mo its your family but for me theres more that can be called family.
Family is not all about pag kadugo mo yun na pamilya mo na, for them it's in the blood but for me it's not in the blood, it's in the heart, when you treat them as your family then their are you family, if you love them the way you love your family then their are your family, you can treat anyone as your family because simple, you love them, and you treasure them, you accept them, you accept their flaws, their mistake, you accept them from head to toe, you don't care what other people say.
I found that to my friends, I found my family to my friends, yes! They are my family and I'm proud of it and I'm lucky to have them.
