"Do you believe in soulmates?" He asked.
"Are you trying to subtly flirt with me?" The other asked.
Hoseok's family was very different from the others. One being, they can see the invisible red thread of fate that connected two people, eventually br...
"How's my favorite, married couple doing?" Solji joked with Namjoon and Taehyung as she stepped into their homes.
"We're not married," Namjoon shook his head with a smile.
"Yet," Taehyung added.
"Yet," Namjoon repeated with a soft smile.
Yes, the couple did plan on getting married. It popped up in one of their conversations not too long ago. Taehyung asked if he plans on getting married. Namjoon answered yes.
And done, end of story.
Moments later, Taehyung left to go take a shower, leaving Solji and Namjoon.
"Have you ever talked about adoption yet?" Solji inquired.
"A-adoption?" Namjoon asked. "Uh no. Not yet at least."
"But do you want to?"
Namjoon nodded. "My job though. I'm always so busy, I don't even have much time to spend with Taehyung anymore."
"It's okay," Solji placed a hand on his shoulder. "You guys aren't even married yet."
"I wanna propose," Namjoon confessed. "I just don't know how."
"I mean," Solji shrugged. "You get in your knees, pull put a ring, and then you ask-"
"I meant," Namjoon cut her off. "How I want to propose. I want it to be special."
"Aww," she cooed. "You two are truly the cutest couple ever. Maybe even cuter than Hyuna and Dawn!"
"No one is cuter than them," Namjoon laughed. "They're soulmates."
Solji giggled. "Facts."

"M-mom?" Hoseok stared at his mom and her ex-boyfriend from years ago. She had lots of ex boyfriends, but he was different. He wasn't just interested in his mom, he was interested in Hoseok as well. He was interested in what he likes, what he wanted to be when he grew up.
He acted like a real dad with Hoseok.
He was surprised to see him after all these years. Surprised that his mom was talking to him after how things were left off. But what made him more surprised, was seeing their red string connecting their love.
"Oh, Hoseok!" his mom greeted him in a happy tone. "I just bumped into Seojun while at the grocery store. Remember him?"
Hoseok nodded, his eyes staying on the string.
His mom saw his string as well, seeing that he had already met his soulmate. Now the real question was are they dating?
"Hey kid," Seojun greeted him. "Been a long time, huh?"
"Yeah," Hoseok nodded.
"How old are you now?" he asked.
"26," Hoseok answered.
"Damn," Seojun nodded. "So you're an adult now, huh? Now I feel old."
"Tell me a bout it," Hoseok's mom laughed. A genuine laugh that only came out when she was with Seojun. She still wonders why she broke up with him, but then she realized.
It was her own insecurities that got the best of her. And because of that, it led to an inevitable break up. But fate brought them back together again.
Fate being Hoseok's mom running to the direction of the other end of her red string. Eventually finding her soulmate and ex-boyfriend, Seojun.
"So," Hoseok asked. "Are you two together?"
"Uh!" they both blushed like teenagers. "No, hahaha."
"What about you?" Seojun scratched the back of his neck. "Got a special someone?"
Hoseok's mind immediately went, Yoongi. A soft smile revealed itself on Hoseok's features. "Yeah."
"Oh, who?"
"Yoongi."
"You're dating someone?" Hoseok's mom asked. "Since when."
"Well," Hoseok blushed. "We aren't official yet."
"Yet."
"You said you were gonna get the milk," Yoongi voice was heard from behind Hoseok. "Looks like someone got distracted."
"Oh!" Hoseok grabbed his arm and pulled him close. "Mom, Seojun. This is Yoongi. The special someone."
Yoongi blushed. "Mom? I- special some-- Hoseok what's going?"
"Introducing you to my mom and her e- Seojun," Hoseok answered. Yes, his mom and his mom's Seojun.
"Um, nice to meet you," Yoongi said shyly. Hoseok finding it so adorable how small Yoongi appeared in front of his family.
"Hoseok," his mom cooed. "You never told me he was such a cutie."
"Mom!" Hoseok whined, making Yoongi laugh a little.
"Thanks Mrs. Jung."
She glanced at the red string connect Yoongi and Hoseok. "You can just call me mom."
"Mom!" Hoseok whined once again.
As the couples walked away, Hoseok turned to Yoongi with a grin. "You're still so shy."
"Shut it," Yoongi smacked his chest. "Let's just get the milk and go."

After putting away all the groceries, Yoongi and Hoseok plopped down on the couch exhausted. Yoongi finding his way, laying in between Hoseok legs and resting his head on Hoseok's chest.
They stayed like that, just being thankful for each other's presence.
"So this is what couples do, huh?" Yoongi asked.
"What do you mean?"
"Cuddle," Yoongi clarified.
Hoseok frowned, pulling Yoongi closer. He wrapped his arms and legs around a Yoongi protectively.
"I'll treat you better than him," Hoseok promised, which sounded more like a statement. If it was, he was already staying true to his word.
"And I'll treat you just a great," Yoongi whispered back.
Finally, the two have felt completed with each other. Finding the other half of themselves, and healing each other's broken hearts that will never be broken ever again.
And that was a promise.
Author note: I'm sorry for the break I took on this book. I don't have an excuse other than wanting to focus on my other books. Is that a good excuse? Idk. I'm so glad Fate is more popular than Low Lives cause I kind of hate Low Lives (since it was my first ff). It still holds a place in my heart though.
