Anna tried to get her cousins to stay the night with her. But after the stories their grandmother had told them as kids. The guys just wouldn't stay past dark. Chris offered to spend the rest of the night helping Anna unpack. Mostly helping her set up the furniture. Or putting things away in tall places. By the time they were done, they just clasped on the couch. "Wanna watch some tv?" Anna asked, putting her feet up on the stool. Chris told her sure since he wasn't ready to return home yet. After she picked out a show called Outlander, she got up saying she'd get them something to drink.
Walking back into the room, she couldn't help but laugh at Chris' face. He looked partly discussed, and partly intrigued. Looking up he smiled when he saw she had a couple beers. Taking one from her he gave her a quick thanks, then went back to the show. After the first episode ended. Chris yelled out in shock. "Dude!" He exclaimed, looking over at Anna in shock. "Why did it end? What kind of movie is this thing?" Anna laughed and told him about it being a tv series. "I had just finished the books and thought I'd start on the show now." Chris just shook his head with a smile, and asked if there was another episode, and another beer.
Getting up he walked to the kitchen. He just barely missed something dark running down the hallway. Looking back at the living room, he turned on the hallway light. Walking down slowly. He looked at either end. Finding nothing he walked back to the kitchen. A feeling of uneasiness and the feeling of benign watched slowly creeping over him. Grabbing the beers, he walked back to Anna handing her one. "Did you get lost?" She joked with him. Shaking his head he told her he couldn't find the bottle opener. There was no reason to scare her in her new home.
Leaning back he relaxed, keeping an eye on the hallway. Last thing he wanted to do was scare Anna. After all it had been a long day, he could have just imagined it. What he didn't imagine was when Anna leaned into him, laying on his chest. Putting an arm around her, he relaxed. Not noticing how tired he really was. Christ soon found himself asleep. Not noticing the dark shape in the hallway watching them.
Neither woke up till hours late. Anna mumbled something as Christ moved his other arm, aiming to wipe his eyes. Instead he found himself poking them instead. Anna slowly started coming to. Nestling into the strong chest under her head. Moving her arm out she started messaging the thigh under her hand. Slowly she started moving it up the thigh. Once she reached where she was headed she made a small growling noise as he stilled. She slowly, sleepily, asked if he wanted to go upstairs.
It took Chris a moment to figure out what was happening. Anna started with her hand on his thigh, moving her way up his leg. He just about came undone when she grabbed him. He definitely didn't expect her to ask him if he wanted to go upstairs. He let out a long, low hum of his own. She let out a small giggle in response. Chris felt his heart stop when she moaned, calling him Dan. Completely freezing, he started to put a stop to it.
Carefully he pulled his arm away from her. Standing up he looked down at the now red faced Anna.
"Oh god Chris I'm sorry." She covered her face with her hands, fully waking up. Chris watched her. Thinking carefully about it, he finally said her name. She slowly looked up at him. Letting the silence hang for a moment before he spoke. He finally asked the question he wasn't sure he wanted to know. "Anna, Who is Dan?"
