MAGGIE STOOD IN the bathroom with Ella as moral support in case it was a negative test. Ella never really wanted to bring children into this world until she came to Alexandria for it was selfish to even think of bringing a child into this world if you were on the road trying to survive and fight for another day. But they were safe in Alexandria, they were and nothing would ever change that other than a herd of walkers or a group of bad people like the ones they recently dealt with. Ella and Glenn were going to make a family and thrive in this world of chaos. They were going to build a life here in Alexandria. . . or if things worked out, they could always live in Jesus's community if it was safer than Alexandria though Ella doubted it was any different.

The Greene woman held Ella's hand as they waited for the test result. The only good thing about it being negative was that she wouldn't have to be so careful, and Glenn wouldn't be mad, he'd more than likely tell her that it was okay and they could always keep on trying if that was what she wanted. Ella stared at the pee stick she held in her hands, she wondered if this was how every woman felt when waiting whether they wanted the child or not. It was rather nauseating to wait this long for a result, a result that she had a gut feeling would be not what she wanted it to be.

Ella began to think about everyone's reactions if it were a positive test. She already knew Glenn would be ecstatic about it for he was the one saying she was pregnant and simply just praying he was right yesterday morning. She wondered if everyone would be as happy as he would be or if they would judge her for wanting to start a family so soon after the danger was done and over with because for all they knew a new danger was arriving very soon. Even if they did judge her, they wasn't exactly any way to have an abortion and the pills for it was already hard enough to find with almost every pharmacy they came across being picked through.

Ella looked at Maggie. "How long has it been? It feels like it's been decades just waiting here." she looked back down at the pee stick and noticed the lines were slowly forming now.

"Only one minute." Maggie pulled her hand away, crossing her arms as she herself waited for the result for she was curious to see. No matter the result or her choice if she were pregnant, Maggie would support her through it all on her journey. If she didn't want the baby, Maggie would help her find the pills she needed. If she wanted the baby, Maggie would make sure she had all she needed to have a healthy pregnancy and she would make sure no one was going to kill her when she gave birth like when Lori gave birth.

Ella made a noise with her lips, the sound of a house whinnying. "Time needs to speed up. I can't wait any longer and I bet everyone is already almost done with packing up the RV for Jesus's community," Ella paused for a split second. "If I was pregnant, how far along do you think I'd be?" she asked.

Maggie thought about it. She stared at the test. "A month, maybe almost two months. Depends on how much sex you had, if you always had sex unprotected, and when you started to have sex." she explained.
