(Mini announcement, this is the last chapter in this series. I'm thinking of doing another foster Keefe story so let me know how you feel about that, but for lots lots more info, check out my other story. Thanks, and now back to regular scheduled program)

"Keefe!" A shout rang through the too quite house, echoing up to the blond man upstairs
"Yeah?" He called back, sounding somewhat distracted
"Do you have them?" I called back over my shoulder
"I thought you had them......" he trailed off, adding
"What? No! Where are they?" I screeched, already turning around from the kitchen and looking the living room and down the hall.
"I don't know, I thought you did!" I heard the scrape of a chair as he quickly stood up, and heard footsteps and he went down the hall in search too. I looked around, checking corners and small hiding places, they loved to hide.
"Wait!" I heard from upstairs, and I almost toppled over as I halted mid step "I know!" He came rushing down, looking me in the eye and he said "we already dropped them off" I stood there for a second, before bursting out laughing
"You'd think after two kids you'd get a little better at parenting, huh?" I asked him, still giggling. He chucked before responding
"Yeah, seriously. How could we both forget when we have photographical memories? How stupid can we get?" He asked, laughing a little harder. We both stood there for a long moment before I had to get to work and he had to get back up to his office.
"Love you!" I called, rushing out the door

"And-and then we- and we- and so then, Kingsley did this- so, so I did THAT" the little girls arms motioned as she explained, her face concentrated and she told me all about her day
"Wow, sounds like an interesting day, sweetie" I told her, glancing back quickly before training my eyes back on the road
"It was!" She exclaimed, swinging her legs. She turned her head to look out the window, marking the end of our conversation. Finally I pulled up, and almost like clockwork I heard from the back seat
"Lilith, Lilith, Lilith!"
"Momma! Hey, shira" Lilith stepped into the car, swinging her backpack onto the floor of the car.
"Hi, sweet pea" I greeted "seatbelt" I heard a click and checked before pulling out, making sure she had her seatbelt on.

"Girls!" Lilith and shira crashed into Grady, almost knocking him over with their hugs. Next it was Edaline, who did literally topple over when she wasn't braced for impact.
"Woah! They're exited" A voice called from behind us
"Uncle Dex! Auntie Biana!" Shira called, turning her attention and giving both of them a rib cracking hug along with Lilith.
"Phew, they get stronger every time, I swear" Dex mumbled
"Hey Dex" I gave him a big hug as well, moving to Biana as Keefe and Dex started to talk and the girls began chasing each other
"Well, well. Long time no see" I said, giving her an even bigger hug, but still tried to be careful with her bulging stomach
"Well well yourself. How have you and the girls been?" She asked me, breaking away after a long moment
"Good! It's so nice being able to work partially from home, and with Keefe's art business at an all time high we're doing really well. How you doing with your fist pregnancy?" I asked her
"I mean, the pregnancy itself is fine, but...." she trailed off, trailing the rim of her glass delicately with her pinky
"But what? What's wrong?" I prompted, trying to understand
"What if I'm a bad mom? What if I do something wrong? What if they hate me?" Biana let out a small sob, looking fragile and defenseless
"You're going to be a great mom. They'll love you, and everyone makes mistakes. It's what makes us human. And besides, I'm sure the girls will love them, and I already do, so I can babysit anytime you need a break" I mugged her with my elbow, smiling. She smiled back, but still looked worried. "It'll be okay" I promised. She nodded, looking a lot more sure that time.
"I'm glad we decided to all meet up. It's nice, seeing everyone. We're all so grown up.....it's icky" Biana scrunched her nose, taking a small sip of non-alcoholic wine
"Only you would call growing up icky" I laughed
"Uncle Fitzy! Breena" Lilith ran over, fighting off shira to get a hug for herself.  Keefe waltzed over with a smug smirk, and I heard Fitz whisper
"You did not" as she shot a dark look at Keefe
"Oh, but I did fitzy" Keefe said back, his smirk growing wider, and all the boys started to  catch up. I smiled as Breena walked over with shira in her arms, Lilith trotting after them
"Hello there, sister. How's married life with my brother?" Biana asked as she gave her a  hug around my daughter
"It's been wonderful, we still go out on dates" she flipped her hair over her shoulder, obviously showing off her gigantic rings. She smiled sweetly "How about you guys? The kids are obviously doing good, soph" She looked down where the girls had been but they had scampered off, already bored.
"Yeah, good." I gave her a small smile back, trying to answer politely. I don't know why, but I never really liked Fitz's new wife. She seemed too fake to me, like nothing was in her head. Just a smile that was constantly plastered on. Biana didn't seem to like her too much as well, claimed she rubbed her the wrong way.
"Mom, mommmmm. Mommy!" Shira tugged on my pants, trying to get my attention
"Yes, sweetie?" I asked her, looking down
"Can we play games now? Everyone's here!" She asked me. I looked around, and the room was quieter as conversation died down
"Sure" I told her "everyone! Let's play a game" I announced, letting my daughter drag me to the living room as everyone else fallowed. It felt good, being surrounded by family.
