-Ricky's POV-
You have got to be kidding me. Are you fucking serious right now?
"So who in here knows a lot about loveee?" Quinn smiled, dragging out the word. I'm so glad that he's enjoying this.
But, I do. I know that i'm stupid when it comes to love. I know that i'm not exactly positive i know what love is, but if I have any idea it's because of Nini.
I know that when I see her my whole world slows down. I know that when she smiles I get butterflies in my stomach. I know that when she gets nervous she develops this interesting British accent, which she thinks is the most awkward thing in the world but I think its the cutest. I also know that she's scared of spiders and won't sleep in her room for a few nights if she finds one in there. She would always call me to come kill them for her, and even when I assured her it was gone, she wouldn't even go near her door. I know that I love her. Nini is the one reason I know anything about love.
I looked down at my lap while fidgeting with my fingers smiling stupidly to myself as I thought about the way her hair would fall in front of her eyes when she laughed too hard.
"I know a lot about love!" Carlos cheered while raising his hand, snapping me out of my thoughts, making me pick up my head.
"Here we go." Kourtney chuckled with Nini. I've missed that laugh.
"Alright Carlos, let's hear it then!" Quinn clapped his hands together.
"Well," Carlos smiled, placing his hands on his desk and pushing himself up, so he was looking at the whole class. This is gonna be good. "I know that love is probably the best feeling you can ever have. That love makes people do very intresting things, and in some cases, stupid ones." He began, as his eyes darted towards me for a quick second as his head stayed in place. "I can also tell you that love can make people blind, whether it is good or bad. Sometimes you don't always know someone loves you because they tell you, but because they show you in all the little things they do. Whether it's the way they will always make sure you feel safe in every possible situation. Or how they will give you their jacket when you are already wearing one and they're just wearing a thin long sleeve shirt. It could possibly be the way they stare at you, not in a creepy way, but admiring everything you have to offer. But most importantly, I know that in the end of everything, if it's truly meant to be, love conquers all. Always." Carlos smiled, while sitting back in his seat. Out of nowhere, the class erupted in applause while Big Red, Nini, Kourtney, and I sat there dumbfounded.
"Wow, that was awesome! Where did that come from?" Quinn said in awe.
"I just, I just, well, I have a friend that needs to hear it." Carlos smiled at Quinn before shooting me a wink. All of the things he described are the things I used to do to Nini. They all knew I loved her before I did. Nini always gets cold, so I of course would take off my puffy jacket, and whatever I was wearing, I would always give it to her, making sure to wrap it up tight since it was big on her. That kid really cracks me up. He may be strangely sassy and obnoxious at times, but when it comes down to it he knows what he's doing and I know he's got my back.
Carlos held up his hand in a fist, and I gave him a little fist pump while letting out a small laugh.
-Nini's POV-
Someone needed to hear it. Who is Carlos talking about? Me? Himself? Ricky? Well obviously not Ricky, the kid wouldn't know love if it went up to him and smashed his guitar over his head.
Why out of all things in the fricken world, does Quinn have to talk about stupid love? I had my heart broken two months ago. And I definitely don't love Ej yet. Sure, he's pretty amazing and i'm sure given time i'll learn to love him, but I just don't know him enough to love him yet. Also after that comment his friend made earlier, I don't know what to think.

Lãng mạnWhen you fall in love with someone, you never expect to fall out. Nini sure didn't. She loved Ricky more than anything, and she thought he loved her too. They were each others worlds after all. So, much to her surprise: It was a very rude awakening...
