Piece of advice, the next time you guys want to be called reporters, I suggest you research well to really know which are facts and which are baseless rumors.
Chris's statement kept playing in Tiffany's mind. Did he just challenge the press to dig the truth about them or was it his way of getting them off her back for good?
Scott may not be Chris. But as the younger Evans was watching her, he had an inkling Tiffany might be thinking about what his brother said at the press con. "That was a bluff. Ninety-nine percent of the time, they wouldn't really do intensive research," Scott assured her.
Tiffany nodded her head. She may not one hundred percent agree with his method but she one hundred percent believed that Chris won't say anything that would lead the nosy ones to her doorstep.

Scott had long been gone but Tiffany was still glued to the TV, connected to her laptop. She had been browsing through Google for Chris to check on any news about him.
She did stay away from updates from notorious gossip mongers mainly because of how these websites painted him. And because there wasn't much news coming from non-nosy people from the world wide web, Tiffany ended up replaying the press conference over and over except, of course, for the last part.
The truth is, Tiffany wasn't curious about updates on Chris's life, at all. In her mind, she was just making an excuse to get a glimpse of him. She missed talking with him, virtually seeing him on Facetime almost every single day. So, she contented herself with the video.
After about an hour or so, she strayed into old Youtube videos of him laughing with cast mates and edited ones of him being him. Oh how Tiffany longed for this man as she found herself smiling while watching.
However, as a recurring incident in her life these days, her trifling happiness was cut short by some bothersome text she got from no less than the man she would wish she wouldn't have to see or hear from ever again. Your BEST friend wants to ruin his career, doesn't he?
Tiffany would try to ignore the text that but she would be bombarded with more messages from Mike. The last one, in particular, made her hazels go wide. She could feel her insides constricted with air causing her head to spin. It was a picture of Mike's face all bruised up and a video of him outside the Evans home.
Tiffany labored to sit down as she tried to breathed in and out at a routine pace. She kept puffing more air out of her mouth as her eyes closed. She knew Mike had changed but she could never have guessed he would turn into this monster.
Her phone rang. She stared at the screen, contemplating whether she should answer it or not. Just then, she remembered her words to Chris. She would want to solve the freaking evil problem, that was Mike, on her own.
Tiffany's thumb was trembling when she pressed the green button. "Didn't you wanna divorce me?" She mustered all the strength she had left. "Why can't you just sign the papers and leave me and my friends in peace?"
"Only if you agree to my terms." The confidence in his voice unmistakable.
"How many times do I have to tell you I wouldn't sign the papers if everything there are conditions that would only benefit you?"
"Then consider Chris toast once I release the photo of my banged up face to the public."
Tiffany puffed another chunk of air. "That's one more thing, Mike. Just stop dragging Chris into our divorce. He has nothing to do with any of this."
"Again, if you were only cooperative," Mike had the smug tone.
She was so frustrated that she gripped her mobile tightly in her palm as she bit her lower lip in annoyance. "Then I guess it's about time we had a face-to-face with our lawyers in tow. That's when we get to finalize whatever it is that we need to so I could rid myself off you forever. You're actually the one not cooperating so if that's the case, I'll take you to court."
