The first day as a spider

It was almost lunchtime, I spent the rest of the morning thinking about how I would like the rest of the members to be, maybe someone buff  simple minded and straight forward dude with a raspy but strong voice, maybe an intellectual smart rat of library that just loves pondering, maybe some vicious  dude with tattoos all over his face.

With all of this thinking lunchtime soon arrived and when i sat down on the table what I saw was kinda different from what I've expected, "Oh there he is, the new dude that phinks was talking about, he is damn young" a guy with a katana and some kind of japanese vest said, " Uh oh he doesn't seem particularly buff, I bet that he can't take one of my punch straight in the chest", " Are you implying that someone could?" I said with a surprised voice,
"Ohoh I have yet to find someone who can actually tank my big bang impact"
"Uvo I don't think that someone needs to tank one of your punches to beat you, you know you can avoid them" phinks said with a challenging tone, was that a challenge?
"Yoo phinks are you implying that you can avoid every single one of his strike while being able to actually penetrate his iron armor?"
The samurai dude asked, "nobunaga you don't need to back up uvo, I think that he can argument on his own" phinks responded without missing a beat, " phinks you may be faster than me but your attack needs to much time to charge, I can surely beat the crap out of you" Uvo said in a calm tone, he was trying to be provocative using a calm tone, "Tch, stop it , lunch ready, you piss me off" a short black haired guy said in annoyance, his grammar was bad he also talked a bit jerkily and  you could tell that he wasn't a native speaker.

" It's me or feitan seems more pissed of than usual today?" Nobunaga said while touching his chin " yeah definitely more than usual" phinks said "It's probably beaca-" " Oi guys stop being always like this, just eat, I would like to introduce myself to the new one, my name is pakunoda", " Paku I get what you are trying to say but he is a man, he was interested in our debate" phinks said in a calm and esplicative way and I let a quiet laugh escape from my breath, " Yeah of course he was interested" uvo replied, " Yeah probably he is just a bit introverted, but he has the guts I can see it" nobunaga explained, "Well anyway nice to meet you, my name is Tenshi and you can call me just Tey, I am almost 17 and a manipulator"
"Ah, so it's true that you are actually nice and not rude like these guys, well anyway lunch is ready" she replied with a small smile.
"Uhoh I can smell it, is this fried chicken with mashed potatoes?" Uvo asked ecstatic, "Yo mashed potatoes?" I asked with a clear change in tone really excited,

"Yeah, actually there is even a mixed salad too" machi replied. Lunch went great, some small talk and I get to know the other a bit better, of course I devoured the mixed salad with carrots tuna fish onions and black olives, also I totally destroyed the mashed potatoes, like half a kilogram of mashed potatoes with salt olive oil
A bit of balsamic vinegar chopped garlic and chopped parsley, and then we finally started eating.

"Yo guys this mashed potatoes are the shit I swear can I have some more?" I asked while frenetically eating, "It's like the fourth time that you ask for some more." Phinks pointed out, "Let da boy eat he needs to grow." Uvo was laughing and seemed like a proud dad, "By the way guys this hideout is really sick I love it it's so huge and cool, it has everything, multiple rooms, underground floor, huge library..." I pointed out, "I know right there aren't many places like this in meteor city." Nobunaga explained,
"More importantly, tell us more about you, where are you from exactly?" Shalnark asked, "I'm from the  zone of the arcane healing church, that's where I grew up as a kid, you know the royal gardens, the citadel, the stronghold uphill, the observatory, the catacombs, and thanks to that I'm really into science, an elder taught me a lot about astronomy and physics." I explained with a smile as I recalled my childhood, "We have a privileged kid here, you grew up uphill, where there is fresh breeze and not just sand insanely high temperatures." Phinks said as he looked away, "That's a really beautiful place." Paku said with a smile, "Is that the Star Sailor mark?" Asked Uvo as he pointed at my necklace, "It is, I always have it with me, the elder gave it to me almost two years ago, I'm officially part of the celestial emissaries of Meteor city, a Star Sailor as some call them." I said with a nostalgic smile, and we continued to chat and talk for the rest of the launch.

Uvo just stood there expressionless and said " Man so does your ability have something to do with manipulating your guts so you can eat more?" I looked at him chuckled and said " I wish it was something like that but unfortunately no it's just pure gluttony", " Uh really? At a certain point I was thinking that you didn't eat since the past week" nobunaga said with a shocked tone and an expression filled with incredulity " What? No no I ate the breakfast too this morning, it's just my thing you know, gluttony.",

"we don't make any compliments here, so someone who actually appreciate my cooking skill this much is actually quality for me" machi said with the same bitter expression on her face.Was she passive aggressive? Was she teasing and trying to insult me? I actually think that she was saying the truth.
"Well machi I can help you to make dinner if you want, trust me I have great cooking skills, obviously only if I am not bothering you."
"Wait what do you think you are doing you smooth fucker?", "phinks I didn't mean to? I guess that wasn't my intention" I replied a bit concerned and confused,

then shalnark started laughing "ahahha that was fun seriously", "ahahha, phinks c'mon stop fucking with the new guy, Tenshi was it? Phinks was just fucking with you" nobunaga said while chuckling, " really phinks you were just trolling me?" , " yeah I have to admit that seeing your face was a lot of fun", "aw fuck you man, really" I just replied while fidgeting with my thumbs, "well anyways, if you really are a good chef then you will help me with the dinner ok?" Machi said while going away, "oh yeah sure sounds good but before that I have already something to do this evening".
After that lunchtime ended, uvo reassured me and said that from now on I must cooperate with them and that I am going to part of the assault squad, basically protecting shalnark pakunoda and kortopi and going all out with the others, though I wasn't able to talk to kortopi feitan or franklin today I think that they are quiet and reserved so no big deal.
Phinks seems to be a pretty good guy, he is stubborn and hot headed but at the end he is just a dumb jerk, nobunaga seems to be simple minded clumsy and funny and most of the time he doesn't really understand what's going on,
Uvo seems to be the one who cares most but in it's own way and he is so damn full of energy,
Shal is pretty smart reliable sly is a peacekeeper and laughs a lot, while machi is just bitter apathetic and serious in the outside and soft in the inside,
Paku is calm reserved open minded and really charming, she does the role of the peacekeeper like shalnark.
I was just assorted in my thoughts while phinks opened the door and asked if I was ready, "Well yes", "Then come newcomer", "can you just call me by name?", I eared a low voice saying "phinks wants tease you beacause thinks you are funny", I looked down at feitan, he had that sadistic mischievous look in his eyes, he was also trying to tease phinks, "you're wrong fei, I call him newcomer because he is a rookie, name needs to be earned" "I got it now, thank blondie", "wait how did you call me?" "Phinks why? I always called you phinks", "better be like that newcomer!" His eyes were throwing daggers at me, "Got it, full metal phinks", "okay that's just too much newcomer", "phinks is angry, so susceptible, like a sissy" feitan said without missing a beat, "fei please not you too ok? This is going to be unbearable", "actually, you are the one who started" , then I intentionally started staring at his eyebrows, "what's wrong with my eyebrows?", "uhuh oh, nothing" feitan chuckled, "yeah feitan is right, how is that possible that there is something wrong in you eyebrows if you don't even have them". " Ok ear my out you little brat, you don't wanna piss me off ok?" "Phinks it's okay I was joking like how you were joking during lunch, thrust me I have nothing against you just call me by name", "no way in hell newcomer, not yet, tou don't have your tattoo yet", "is he go get the tattoo?" more feitan talked, more you were wondering where did he came from, "yeah if you want to come with us too it's totally okay feitan" i asked, and then phinks said that it was fine.
