After Dion's departure the three men fell silent, Brownie proceeding to pick up Sirius' folders and their belongings into the room.

"I don't think I am pregnant..." Sirius said after a while, looking at Teddy only for the later to avoid his gaze.

" I thought about what you told me and you are right. I cannot show signs of pregnancy yet. We've done it  only once and even if I was in heat, it wasn't the period of my fertility yet. Plus, it's been only a week since-"

Sirius stopped his blabbering, looking at Brownie before mending his voice in embarrassment.

"Let's discuss this when we get home, ok?"

Teddy nodded numbly, hearing nothing more than Sirius' words ringing into his ears: "He is no father of my child". He felt his heart break with each passing moment, being more devastated  than when Vicky ran away and rejected him, more than when his father kicked him for the first time and more than the times everyone made him feel worthless. He felt little, like everything grew around him and he was just a spotless dot on the floor... a nothing...

Grabbing the folders from Brownie, Sirius greeted the older shifter and took Teddy's palm in his own to pull him out of the room, feeling fear creep into his senses when his mate didn't return his grasp but simply keep his hand unmoved. Hand which Sirius let go anyways when they left the building and saw two of the gang leaders talking into the parking lot.

"Come on, let's go to the car!"

'Is he that ashamed with me?' Teddy thought, rubbing his palm before looking at Sirius' tensed back in wonder and pain.

The ride to the pack house was boiling with silence and stress, both Sirius' and Teddy's forms emanating dark waves of fright. And when they were secured into Sirus' room the anxiety grew ten times heavier, the air around them seeming almost unbreathable.

        "I-"

"You've lied. I could feel you. You believe you are pregnant too."

Sirius nodded, letting his gaze fell at the ground.

         "I am."

"Then why did you deny it so hard? Why did you lie to me?"

Teddy pressed his back against the door, looking at his mate in hurt.

"Because I don't want a baby, Teddy." Sirius whispered, sitting on the edge of the bed when his knees weakened and he felt like he would crumble at the floor. "It's not the time for us to have a child. We barely know each other well and there are so many things we must do into the clan. We are not prepared to be parents."

Teddy shook his head, feeling his hands starting to tremble.

"Stop lying! I can feel this ache into my heart, this drop into my guts every time you are dishonest with me... with yourself...Are you ashamed to be my mate, to bear my child?"

Sirius' eyes widened, his head moving in disagreement and chest hurting because Teddy thought something like that.

        "I would never, Teddy!"

"Then why? Why don't you wanna go to the doctor? Why do you deny the possibility of  having a baby?"

Sirius sighed, pressing the heels of his palms each side of his head and rubbing his scalp madly.

        "Because I don't want it!"

"Stop saying this!" Teddy suddenly rose his voice, making Sirius still and look up at him in shock. "What will you tell this child if they get born and find out their father didn't want them? Or do you really think about aborting them?"

Sirius shook his head, for the first time feeling tears cluster at the corners of his eyes but being able to keep them at bay.

          "I don't. I didn't mean it like that..."

Teddy shook his head, rubbing his fingers over his eyes and sighing.

"I am sorry, I can't do this right now." He said. Then he turned around and rushed out of the room, leaving Sirius alone on his bed, hiding his head on his knees...

.... and crying for the first time in his past sixteen years of life.

Three days had passed and Sirius avoided Teddy completely. The sickness had became worst and the neko felt like his knees would give up on him and his head would explode because of the uncontrollable ache taking over it. Now he was lying on his bed, feeling his body burn two hundred degrees and mind slip into unconsciousness.

"Sirius, have you woken up already?"

The neko looked at the door, seeing his father pock his head inside his room and widening his eyes in horror.

"Sirius?" The man asked, rushing inside the bedroom and kneeling at his son's side. He placed his hand on Sirius' forehead and then retracted it quickly, his skin aching just like he'd touched fire.

Meanwhile Sirius kept on staring at the threshold, hoping to see his mate's handsome face appear before his eyes but knowing he didn't deserve it.

The neko felt someone slide their hands behind his knees and pick him up at their muscular chest, soon seeing his body being lifted and carried out of the room.

"Esther, bring me the car keys! And call Sirius' mate, tell him to meet us at the hospital!"

Sirius' mother appeared before Erik with the car keys and her phone pressed against her ear, her eyes widening when she saw her mate carrying a barely conscious Sirius into his arms.

"What happened?" She asked, helping her husband unlock the entrance door and step out onto the porch.

As the chill air of the morning made contact with Sirius skin he started to tremble, his teeth clacking against each other and body convulsing harder with each passing moment.

"I don't know, but it's not the heat this time..."

The woman nodded, helping her husband unlock the car and lay Sirius into the backseat. Then she watched her mate driving out of the parking lot, only now aware of the voice echoing from the device held in her palm.

"Teddy? Erik brought Sirius to the hospital. We don't know what is wrong with him."

Welp, a birdie asked me if I will update twice like my sis did. I said, no, but here we are now!
