Friday came, Beomgyu was flipping through the pages from his thick book. Chani who had been curious since the beginning, tried to take a peek. Beomgyu took noticed so he quickly shut the book close.
Chani: *frowns* It's about time you showed it to me already, sunbae.
Beomgyu: No way.
Chani: Come on!
He pleaded.
Beomgyu: I'm off~
Beomgyu packed his things and exited the room. He was stunned to see Heejin stood infront of him.
Heejin: Please come to the rooftop.
Beomgyu smiled as he following Heejin to the rooftop.
Beomgyu: It's about the exchange diary, right?
Heejin: I... All of my memories with my friends disappear after a week. My memory gets reset. That's the illness I have. All of my memories I have of you... I will have forgotten about it by Monday. That's why, I can't be friends with you.
Beomgyu: If I said "It doesn't matter", what will you do?
Heejin: You can say it so easily because you don't understand the issue.
Beomgyu: But—
Heejin: I don't want the people I become friends with to go through such a hard predicament. This happened before, and I told them about me once. I didn't want them to repeat themselves every time. They would just say the same things many times. I'm sure anyone would become exhausted of it, right? In my previous school... it seems like everyone turned away from me. I'm sure I'll become a bothersome to you, too. Being friends with me will become a burden.
Heejin took out the notebook and pen from her bag and gave them to Beomgyu. She bowed before walking away.
Beomgyu: Jeon Heejin!
Beomgyu ran and blocked her way.
Beomgyu: Please become friends with me!
Heejin just gave him an irritating look,
Beomgyu: *smiles* I will definitely not get tired of this and you will not become a burden to me. Every Monday comes, I'll keep on saying it. No matter how many times, I'll keep on repeating it. I'll say, "Please become friends with me!".
