You threw yourself under the covers when you felt the gold band around your wrist start to hum to life.

"Shush! Shush! Shhh!!!" you whispered harshly to the bracelet. Under the blankets, it glowed a gentle golden light,

"Y/n...?" Bam Bam's voice rose up softly. You grit your teeth,

"It's the middle of the bloody night, Bam Bam! What the hell do you want!?" you hissed. The golden bracelet vibrated slightly, as if the person on the other end was laughing,

"My apologies, Mana flower. There is no time in Heaven and I thought it would be a good time to talk to you. So! How are you?"

You bit back the barrage of cuss words that threatened to spill out,
"G-good! I'm good. How are you?"

"I'm doing fine as well, thank you for asking!" Bam Bam chirped. You took a deep breath, holding back the urge to rip off the bracelet and throw it out the window,

"Is there any other reason why you called me, Bam Bam?" you muttered around grit teeth.

"Aha! Yes of course! I found some interesting tea that I thought I should spill to you, since it concerns your precious boys." he said, lowering his voice. You shifted slightly, your interest now peaked,

"I'm listening...." you whispered back. You felt the band slide around your wrist as Bam Bam moved around on the other end,

"I heard from a little birdy that someone isn't doing too well. In fact, there were whisper's of an old curse or something like that hehe!" he said cheerfully, despite the dark subjects he had just brought up.

"What kind of curse?" you asked. You remembered Hoseok's pale face among the fabrics of the bed and your stomach twisted.

"One that is considered taboo by even the legions of Hell. It's some pretty nasty stuff." Bam Bam continued. You swallowed the lump that had gathered in your throat with much difficulty,

"What... What does it do...?" you choked. Bam Bam seemed to hesitate for a second,

"Are you ok, Y/n?" he asked gently. You nodded vigorously,

"Yes, I'm just worried about one of the boys." you said quickly. Bam Bam was quite again and you worried if he was going to leave you,

"This curse...." he finally spoke up after a couple stifling seconds,
"Does more than torture and kill it's victim... It destroys the person, it's legacy, it's history, everything. If not stopped or sealed, the entire lineage of a bloodline could be wiped out."

You felt a cold chill come over you and you shivered under the blankets,
"An entire bloodline?"

"Everyone and everything that had contact with the victim. Family members, extended family members, pets, you name it. On top of that, the death isn't a pretty one. The victim... Y/n, tell me if I'm scaring you, you're trembling." he sounded genuinely concerned. You did your best to calm your quaking body, pulling the blankets even tighter around yourself,

"I'm fine, really. There's just a cold draft in my room." you said dismissively. Bam Bam sighed,

"Ok... Anyway, the victim will undergo at least three stages; infection, decay, and madness. This curse was designed and woven into three blades, however, there are only two left in the world. The third was shattered years ago but anyway, I'm getting off topic. Once the victim has been penetrated by the blade, the curse enters their bloodstream. The wound itself will be forever open, there is no cure for it. There, the wound will fester and get worse and worse till the body starts to decay. With the decay, the infection travels through the body and eventually to their mind. From there, it's hopeless. Family members will start to show similar symptoms and the victim... Usually goes on a killing spree till their bodies fall apart, literally."
