They're still a week away from the Semi-finals and the training's been pretty tough.

Kai: I want you all to perform your best in the battle or I'll hang you on the Eiffel tower! (Paris remember?)

Rest: Yes captain.

Kai: 10 rounds of this park and then dismiss. Everyone!!

Hilary: Me too??

Kai: Every one means you too I assume??

        They all started jogging around the park.Tyson ran next to Kai and matched his pace with him.

Tyson: Hey Kai...
Kai: Hmm?
Tyson: Do you wanna know about our team's dating life?
Kai: No.
Tyson: Ok. But I'll tell anyway.  So...as you know, Ray and Mariah's a couple. Max is with Marium. Kenny's love- struck on Ming Ming. Looks like Avery and Brooklyn are having a scene...

'Why is everyone forcing a relationship tag on her?? Thats absurd!! I mean they can be just friends, right?'

Tyson: And apparently, you and Hilary might hook- up.

Kai: What makes you say that?
Tyson: Look who's interested now?
Kai: Speak now.
Tyson: About what? You and Hilary? Come on man! S-She l-likes you. Its pretty o-obvious.

There was a weak smile on his face that remained unnoticed.

Kai: what a trouble.
Tyson: y-you don't like her?
Kai: I'm not some lover boy character. And why would I anyways? (Sorry Hilary🙏)

Tyson: I mean, she's beautiful, kind , smart, makes people laugh. She's bubbly, sometimes she explodes like a volcano, but she's just herself, no filter.

A faint but genuine smile was now evident on his face.

" But she's not the one ", he muttered.
Tyson: huh?

Kai: N-Nothing. bye...
He paced up...leaving Tyson behind.

Tyson: hmm...strange.

While a few metres from them, the girls were having their own chat.

Hilary: Avery...
Avery: hmm?
Hilary: should I ask Kai out?
Avery: h-huh? W-Why ask me?
Hilary: Just cause. So should i?
Avery: i don't know. But I think you should wait until the tournament ends.
Hilary: right. So what about you and Brooklyn?
Avery: Again?Seriously?

Hilary: I mean you might not fancy him but girl, he surely does!

Avery: What makes you say that?
Hilary: You're so naive...it's evident in his eyes!! The way they shine seeing you everytime.

"But he's not the one..."she muttered.

Hilary: Looks like everyone in blade breakers has atleast a slight sense of love-maturity. Except Tyson.

Avery: Tyson??

Hilary: Hmm..
I used to have a slight crush on him till last year. But i know he's way too dumb for understanding love. He just loves Beyblading and food.(And Hilary!!!and Kai!!! Love triangle!!!)

She then noticed Tyson, a few metres ahead, jogging alone.

Avery: Talk to you later Hil. Bye...

With that, she ran off to Tyson.

Avery: Hey.
Tyson: Hey...
Avery:You okay?
Tyson: yeah...?
Avery: that sounded more like a question. Now tell me what happened.
Tyson:*sighs* I told Kai  that Hilary likes him.
Avery: Oh. A-And??

'Does he like her back??'

Tyson: He said he doesn't like her.
Avery: huh...wait. shouldn't you be happy?
Tyson: If Hil ever confesses to him and he rejects her, she'll be hurt.And how can I be happy when she's not?

Avery: You really are in love brother.

Tyson: Yup...its a bitter-sweet feeling.

"Look who you said is dumb, Hilary."  She thought.
