"Lisa."
"Baby."
"Poopoo."
Lisa woke up as her wife kept nudging her. She looked at the bedside clock and it was two in the morning. For the past two weeks she was okay with Jennie waking her up. There was one time that Jennie woke her up just to ask her if she loved her or not. She remembered what Jennie told her, so she had to bear with it. "Do you need anything, sweetheart?" Lisa asked her lover as she rubbed her eyes. Jennie was pouting and had her arms crossed. "I want ice-cream." Lisa's eyes widened and looked at Jennie.
"It's not good for the baby, you know that." Lisa disagreed. Jennie frowned and wiggled her legs. "It's not for the baby, it's for me." The brunette whined, her eyes starting to glister. Lisa sighed and held her wife's arms to calm her down. "Fine I'll go check if the ice-cream shop is open." Lisa got up and stretched her arms.
A few minutes later, Lisa was already wearing a coat with a black cap. She looked at Jennie who had her gummy smile, happily clapping her hand. She shook her head and smiled. "I feel like I'm having two babies." Lisa mumbled. She opened the door and went out.
Jennie who a few seconds later had her cute gummy smile suddenly frowned as she heard the main door close. Just then she realized she miss Lisa. "Lisa?" she called out underneath her breath. No response. Her mouth went upside down as she started to whimper.
Meanwhile,
Lisa walked until the end of the town, and to her luck there was an ice-cream shop which was about to close the door. Lisa quickly ran and shouted to get the attention from the girl. "I-I need a cup of milk flavoured ice-cream, please." Lisa said, catching her breath. The girl looked at her and gave a sorry look. "The shop is close, you can come again tom--"
"My wife's pregnant and she's craving for it, please help me." Lisa begged. She take off her cap and wiped the sweat down her forehead. The girl's eyes widened as she recognised Lisa. "Oh my god! You're the CEO of the biggest company!" The girl said in her shocked tone, Lisa smiled at her and looked inside the shop.
"Oh yeah, hold on I'll get your ice-cream." Lisa sighed in content and sat at one of the table outside. It was cold yet she was sweating like hell. Her phone rang from inside her pocket, she frowned as she saw Jennie's name on the screen. She picked up and put it on speaker. Jennie was crying and whimpering on the other side. "Hey, something happened?" The Thai girl asked worriedly. As much as she was worried of not getting enough sleep, she was more worried about her wife and the baby's health. "I miss you." Lisa's face softened and held in her laugh. "I'll come back, stop crying and stay calm." Lisa assured. "Please come back faster." Jennie said before she hang up. Lisa chuckled looking at her screen.
"Here's your order."
"Oh thank you." Lisa took the cup and she smiled at girl. "Thank you so much for helping me." Lisa said. The girl shook her head and smiled shyly. "I hope the baby will be as good as the parents." The girl said. Lisa smiled and stormed away.
Jennie was biting her nails when the door opened, revealing Lisa. She quickly got off the bed and slumped towards Lisa, engulfing her in a tight hug. "Don't leave me again." Jennie mumbled. Lisa chuckled and kissed her wife's head. "I got your order, ma'am." Jennie's eyes brighten and took the ice-cream. She sat at the edge of the bed and started to eat her ice-cream silently. Lisa took off her coat and tossed it on the sofa.
'Why didn't I fall for you earlier?' Lisa thought as she looked her wife's back sweetly. She lied on the bed and heaved a long sigh. "I love you." Lisa said in her sleepy voice. Jennie turned around and smiled. "I love you more." And the younger girl fell asleep with a smile plastered on her face.
