Isla Fischer's POV

last summer...

"I'm going to miss you so much," Linette sobbed, drenching my shirts' sleeves. I awkwardly pat her shoulders, I don't really know how to console people.

"God Linette, you sound like a conservative mother sending her virgin son away to a strip club,"Saskia said, rolling her eyes.

"Are you not going to miss us?" Linette snapped, looking up from my shoulder to glare at Saskia.

"Well, yes. I don't cry till the airport," she huffed, putting down her hair straightener.

"I don't cry till the airport," I mocked, grinning as she glared at me.

"I can't believe we're never going to see each other again," Linette groaned, spreading her arms out on my bed.

"I have and idea," I said, sitting up straighter. "We should make a pact."

"Ooooh like a cult?"Saskia asked, leaning in. "Do we have to cut our fingers?"

Linette and I stared at Saskia, wondering where her brain cells went. Oh wait, she never had any to begin with. Oops.

"You know like a blood bond," she continued. I shook my head quickly.

"Don't worry no fingers will be harmed in the making of this pact," I chuckled. "As I was saying, we should agree to meet each other back here next summer."

"You mean come to French summer camp again?"Linette asked.

"Well no, I won't be able to because I'll be 18. But you two will," I grinned, looking between the two November born girls.

"And?" Saskia said, not getting my point.

"So, I'll come visit Paris next year and you guys will be here because of summer camp," I explained.

"Let's do it," Linette said quickly. I was shocked because she was usually the most reluctant of the three of us.

"Ok. I, Isla Fischer, solemnly swear to come to Paris the summer of 2020," I declared.

"I, Saskia Petrakis, solemnly swear to visit Paris the summer of 2020."

"I, Linette Conti, solemnly swear to come to Paris the summer of 2020."

"Damn, that was cheesy as fuck. Anyways, see y'all next year," I grinned, grabbing my suitcase.

"What?! You're just leaving?" Saskia squeaked.

"Yeah, flight leaves in 3 hours," I smiled softly.

"Oh now she realizes," Linette sighs, rolling her eyes. Saskia glared at her, throwing a hair curler at her.

"Bye, mes chéries," I winked, heading out the door. I barely made it 5 feet before two arms wrapped around my arms, dragging me down from their weight. This was going to be harder than I thought.

Present Day...

"Isla did you take everything?" my mother asked, fussing over me. "Your jacket? Food? Passport?"

"Yes mum, I've done this before," I smiled, rolling my eyes at her antics.

"Oh I'm just worried about you," she sighed. "My baby's going so far."

"It's only Paris," I said, my heart fluttering at the thought. I was excited. Another adventure was brewing, I could feel it.

"Isla you ready?" my dad asked, rolling my suitcase over to me.

"Hell yeah," I grinned, looking around the airport.

"Language," Katia, my 13 year old sister mumbled.

"I'm an adult, I can swear," I teased. She rolled her eyes, crossing her arms.

"What? No goodbye hug for your big sis?" I asked, holding my arms out. She sighed deeply, giving me a big hug.

"Aww, look at my babies," my mom smiled, taking a picture.

"Ok that's enough," my sister said at the same time I said, "This is getting a little much."

"I got to go before the start boarding," I said, giving my family one last hug. I began to walking to the security gate. I waved one last time before I disappeared behind the divider. My heart rate increased as I took off my shoes and put them in the box. Security always gave me anxiety because you had to be very quick or some disgruntled person would shout at you.

I quickly stuffed my passport into the inside pocket of my denim jacket and headed to the gate. My heart fluttered as I hurried through the airport passing multiple gates and waiting areas. This is really happening, I'm traveling solo to Paris. I arrived just in time as the gate opened and boarding began.

Flight 16253 to Paris is now boarding at gate G24

I greeted the flight attendants and looked for my seat, a window seat thankfully. I opened my Instagram to shoot Saskia and Isla a DM.
