Sebastian's POV:

As far as I'm concerned, she has absolutely no idea what I'm auditioning for. And I'd like to keep it that way. Because... well, for a various number of reasons. If I get this part then me and (y/n) will be flying out of town for the shooting, where then she'll find out there.

When me and (y/n) were younger, she loved Marvel. Or basically, anything superhero-related, even until now. Sure, there were T.V shows and Netflix and Disneyland, but superheroes? She's a goner. (y/n) actually cosplays in her free time. Sometimes I'd go with her to the conventions, other times she'd go alone, making sure to give updates every couple hours and sending pictures of her with fellow cosplayers or her just eating in costume. Most of the time I'd help her out with piecing her costume together and the heavy work cause that's basically my job as her best friend.

Or so I'm told.

We've been friends since we were eleven, maybe twelve, to not do it is like living without breathing.

And yes, it's that serious.

I've known that little shit ever since me and Ma came to New York. The more you leave her unsupervised, the more trouble she gets into. Not that when I'm with her we don't get in trouble, but the casualties become minimal and that's better than her setting off a whole building on fire.

I remember her first time trying to bake. I just turned fourteen and she had four months left of being thirteen. Ma and (m/n) were at work and it was a warm afternoon, I was playing on her Nintendo and she was trying to make Superman shaped sugar cookies in the kitchen. Yes, and in the middle of August. Short story short, we burned Ma's curtains halfway up and we ended up eating the cookie dough instead, trying to get rid of the evidence of crisp end curtains by replacing them with a similar colored one.

Ma still noticed them anyway but didn't say a thing until (y/n)'s birthday.

Regarding my little... role, let's just say, (y/n)'s a total sucker for Captain America; the whole 1940s vibe, the shields, uniforms, the patriotism, and from what I've heard, a lot of confusing relationships and... well, confusing timelines, it's hard to keep up sometimes.

Right now, me and (y/n) are eating at an In-and-Out joint for lunch, munching on fries cause she finished her burgers a long time ago. I was eating the banana sundae I had her promise to get me and just watched her scrolling down her phone, waiting patiently and just enjoying each other's company while killing off a few minutes.

"You're fans are wild Sebby." she giggled, showing me a post on Instagram. It was a video edit of my performance in Gossip Girl. I rolled my eyes playfully and shoved her phone out of my face. "What? It's so cute!" she grinned, continuing to scroll down.

"You only like that show cause I almost kissed one of my male co-actors."

Another fun fact about (y/n); she's an LGBT supporter. Both of us are. It's cute and really admirable. We have close friends who are apart of it and we admire them a lot for that, it gave us a better perspective of what it is and how they're worth no less than straight people. That it doesn't make them any different and less of a person.

A waitress comes in and drops off (y/n)'s strawberry milkshake to-go and she takes away her empty basket of fries, smiling as we thanked her. I wipe the corners of my mouth with a crumpled tissue as I check my watch. It's already 12:20. I stand up and take the car keys from her. "Let's go doll, don't wanna miss the audition."
