Confusion

I have a step brother..?

8:30 saturday

You wake up to lilo(your cat) meowing at the door.
She only does this when she senses a guest in the house.
You hold lilo in one of your arms trying to brush out your bed hair with the other.
When you arrive downstairs you see a guy around your age just staring at you.
Taking a second to process..
Today was the day your stepdad moves in with you but you dont recall ma mentioning about any step siblings.
Mom: oh luv your awake!

Y/n: yes i am..(i whisper to my mom) Ma who is    
         that and why is he keep staring at me..

Mom: I forgot to tell you that you're going to           
            have a step brother

Y/n: mama..how can you just forget to tell me
         that kind of information

Your mom gets called by your stepdad so she tells you to just go introduce yourself
You thinking you look like a trainwreck he is probably thinking that he has the worst looking stepsister ever but like do you care? Hell no
You go up to him trying to be nice as possible
Y/n: hi im Y/n

???: hey im mariano mar for short

Y/n: oh okay *you notice lilo was cozing up on   
        mar's lap* lilo!

Mar:no its fine i like cats

Y/n:  ooh good to know im planning to get 2
         more

Mar:dang what are you some crazy cat lady?
 
Y/n: whats wrong with having 2 more elegant     
        beautiful creatures in the house

You walk into the kitchen fast after the awkward talk. Pouring milk into your cereal you couldnt stop thinking on how hot your step brother looks.
The milk startes over flowing snapping you back to reality.
Sh*t
You clean the countertop. taking your cereal upstairs to your room.
*5:00pm*
You get up not knowing that you fell asleep
You look at the time
'Crap sid(ur bsf) is going to kill me'
Every weekends you go to the gym with your bsf at 5pm
You call sid
Sid: where the hell are you?

Y/n:i woke up just now..cant we just hang out 
       today at my place?

Sid:good i didnt want to workout today either

Y/n:you never wanna work out though

Sid: shut up

*few minutes later*

You go downstairs to open the door for sid.
She walks in to see mar on his phone chilling on the couch.

'Now let me tell you about sid i lov her her honestly but she always makes a scene'

Sid:AHHHH Y/NN YOU GOT A FREAKING BOY
       ON YOUR COUCH AND YOU DARE TO CALL
       ME OVER??? WHO DAT THO???!?

Mar's pov
I look up in shock and confused
This girl runs to me asking me a zillion questions in one second
Y/n comes up as well

Y/n:OMG STOP IT HE IS MY FREAKING  
       STEPBROTHER YOU POTATO HEAD

I just start laughing.

Mar: hi im mar y/n's stepbrother
