Right now I am hanging out with my friends Karmen and jade we are in the mall food court eating some food
Karmen: I knew u and Tj was gonna get back together
Jade: me to but can I be honest with u
Karmen: here she go with this honest bull
Amiya: go head j
Jade: look I know u love Tj and all but u let him his sister and brother and his kid move In with u that's a lot of responsibility that ur too young for and u don't need that type of stress
Amiya: I get it j but what u think Tj going through
Karmen: exactly that man has 3 kids to raise and not by choice well his kid he ain't got no choice
Jade: did we all forget how he hurt u the first time I just don't wanna see u hurt again
Amiya: j I'm appreciate ur concern but I'm good
Karmen: enough about Tj ass let's talk about us going to the same college like we planned me and jade got in we just waiting on u
Amiya: um I haven't applied to anywhere
Karmen: what
Jade: miya I'm not understanding we all agreed we should go to the same college
Amiya: yeah I know but u guys u know music is my passion
Jade: but u ain't signed to any label ur dad don't even wanna sign u until u go to college
Amiya: well he told me I don't have to go to college if I don't want to
Jade: so ur gonna get signed to empire
Amiya: no he's hasn't exactly said that
Karmen: well then u need to get ur ass home and apply to Spelman like we planned
Amiya: and what about Tj cuz he was in our plan except he was going to Morehouse
Karmen: from the looks of things Tj ass ain't going nowhere
Jade: u are so wrong for that
Karmen: I know but anyway there's this big house party in Brooklyn tonight u coming or what
Amiya: y'all really driving all the way to Brooklyn to party
Karmen: um hell yeah
Amiya: I'll let y'all know
Karmen: well if u don't come to this one u better come to our college going away party in a couple of weeks
Amiya: u already know I'm there and I'm gonna miss u guys
Jade: that's why u need to with us but it's cool
Amiya: whatever come on let's finish this girls day ok
Jade: ok
TJ POV
I had just arrived back to Amiya house I had pick up my brother and sister from school then went to go pick up my daughter from daycare they went to watch tv and I went into the room I grabbed the paper from my book bag that held a gun that I bought I haven't told Amiya but theses past couple of weeks I've been having problems with this guy named Ace before I started working I was selling for him but I quit and he wasn't to happy about it now this guy been on my back making threats and I know I need to tell Amiya but I just can't right now I heard the front door opened and I quickly hid the gun under the bed just in time because Amiya was walking in
Amiya: hey babe
Tj: wasup how was ur day
Amiya: fine I was hanging out with Karmen and jade
Tj: so u was getting into some trouble
Amiya: jade and Karmen are not trouble
Tj: yeah ok
Amiya: they did ask me come out to party tonight
Tj: u going
Amiya: I don't know
Tj: u should go out and have fun
Amiya: but ur gonna be here not having no fun
Tj: just cuz I have to be cooped up in the house doesn't mean u have to so go
Amiya: ok but don't be mad if I come back here drunk
Tj: I won't
A couple of hours later Amiya left for the party I put my daughter to bed and made sure my sister and brother were straight and went out to meet up with Ace when I arrived his people searched me to make sure I ain't have nun on me and then they showed me to where Ace was
Ace: I hope u showing back up here to work
Tj: naw I thought I made it clear I quit
Ace: boy u don't get in the game and just to quit
Tj: I know but Ace I gots a family and I need to do something legit
Ace: u should of thought about that before u joined the business
Tj: look man I don't want no bad blood between us I just came here here to straighten things out that's it
Ace: alright well to straighten things out I need u to keep selling for me
Tj: I just told u i can't
Ace: u got 2 million dollars
Tj: naw
Ace: I didn't think u did so here take this sell this and bring me my money back on time u should still know the rules
Tj: Ace I..
Ace: get him out my face now
He boys made me leave and I got in my car punching the steering wheel I can't believe I let this happen now I'm stuck in something that I can't get out of I drove around for a few hours and headed back home it was 3 in the morning and when I headed into the building I saw Amiya sitting down on the floor next to our apartment slumped over
Tj: miya baby wake up come on
She slowly got opened her eyes
Amiya: oh um hey babe I'm so glad to so u
Tj: why u out in the hallway sleeping
Amiya: turns out I'm so drunk I forgot how get in the door
Tj: u drove like this
Amiya: yes but don't worry I didn't crash the car I mean I did run over a stop sign but I'm good and the car is good
Tj: miya next time call me or somebody
Amiya: I called u it went straight to voicemail which reminds me where we're u I might be drunk but not stupid
Tj: I needed to clear my head but we will talk about it when u sober up let's get u in the house
Amiya: ok
I got Amiya settled she was knock out sleep in minutes I checked on my siblings and my daughter and then I went to lay down I probably spent half of the night up thinking about my situation and especially how I'm gonna tell Amiya
