Two days later... in the school hallways, 2:02 PM

Sera's POV

"Well, well... If it isn't Seraphina"

"Who are you?" 

A silver-haired student talked to me with this irritated tone... did I piss him off in the past?

"You don't remember? You knocked me out with one blow that day... Just because I harassed your friend"

What? I don't recall that ever happened... He's not lying for the sake of it, is he?

Out of nowhere, he activated his ability and immediately rushed towards me. i tried to counter him, but his hard-stone skin made it almost impossible. he grabbed my neck and pushed me against the lockers *clang!*

"Ughh!" Wait... Now I remember him. He was the same student that tried to harass John at the front gate ages ago...

"W-why are you doing this?"

"Why? To get payback of course... That day, I couldn't even move my head properly... Even after Doc treated it!"

"What do you mean payback? You attacked my friend that day, which I then payed you back!... What you're doing right now isn't payback. It's just abuse"

".....Shut up" He punched ,y face with his hard fists, but wasn't hard enough to knock me out just yet "Don't you dare tell this to your friend or else"

Suddenly , A green rope-like energy surrounded Gavin's neck... choking it right after for a couple of seconds

"ACK!" The boy gasped for air like his life depended on it before the energy disappeared... Leaving some bruises on his neck

*cough! cough!......* "C-Cecile?!" Said Gavin surprised

"*sigh* what do we have here? You never thought of what would happen to you if Joker finds out?"

"Uhm, I was... I was in the middle of shutting her up"

"Oh? Is that so? Since I witnessed this as well... Are you also planning to shut me up?" Cecile asked, starring down at Gavin

"Wha?... O-of course n-not ma'am!"

"Maybe I should shut you up instead" Cecile said emotionlessly

"W-wait wha---"

Cecile summoned her powers and choked Gavin's neck yet again... and shows no sign of backing down

"Ackkk!"

"Cecile! Stop that!" before I knew it... I found myself yelling at Cecile. But she surprisingly listened

"Get out of my sight before I change my mind" Gavin then ran as fast as he can without hesitation

Cecile then changed her glance towards me and held me down to the lockers

"Why... Why did you tell me to stop?" Asked Cecile

What does she mean by that? Hurting him anymore than that was unnecessary

"He tried to attack you just for the fun of it... Yet you're sparing him? Why?..." Asked Cecile starring down at me

Now that I think about it... If Cecile didn't step in, It could've ended worse for me. And he looked like he was having fun as well while bullying me... So why did I ask Cecile to stop?
