IT WAS NOW FALL SEASON and an array of colored leaves were falling off the trees as a slight cool breeze blew. Uki ran up and down the house like a maniac, looking for her lipgloss. She wanted to wear her shimmery one, tonight. Her anorexia hadn't been priority one for the last couple of weeks as she had gotten her weight back up and was now feeling one hundred percent better. She was a healthy one hundred twenty three pounds. Still underweight for her height, but it was tremendous growth.

Tonight they were going to a rooftop party. She's been coming out a lot more lately and French was very much happy about it. He himself hadn't been anywhere much because he was taking care of her. It was a party his old high school friend was throwing and Uki felt it would be a great idea to go. If it would make her happy, French was for it.

"Uki, just put on a different lipgloss, ma."

"No French Fry, it has to be the berry scented one." She stressed, lifting up couch cushions and looking under every hidden surface. She then fled to the bedroom to look in an old makeup kit that she didn't use anymore. She unzipped the clear bag and rummaged through it. Instead she came across a clear coated one and felt it would look even better with her outfit.

Once she came out into the living room again, she put on her white low top Nikes. She had on tight denim jeans, a white t-shirt she tied in a knot in the front showing off her small, washboard stomach and the matching jean jacket. Her hair had grown back into it's healthy state, covering the bald spots she use to have.

"Ready." She squeaked, excitedly.

French called a taxi and they went outside to wait since the wait was three minutes. Uki was very talkative, not in a way that made her come off annoying, just very bubbly and vivacious. She always had conversation and had a way of making you feel comfortable to talk to her about anything.

The party was in Beverly Hills, so the ride there was a bit long and pricy. French's friend managed to become popular on the Internet and started making money off videos he posted online, therefore had the money to live out here. Once they arrived they paid the driver and entered the building. They gave the security at the front desk the room number and were allowed up.

It was a penthouse suite on the top floor, the rooftop was magnificent. There were so many people. Women were dressed to steal somebody's boyfriend and men looked good enough for the women to want to sin. Immediately Uki got shy, clinging to French's arm as they walked through.

Back in the day she'd never been shy, but her sickness took a huge part of her self esteem. The music was a blend of old school and new school, a mix the DJ knew how to throw together nicely. They went over to the bar and started to fix themselves a drink. French had Vodka with pineapple juice while Uki just had pineapple juice.

"This is really nice," Uki complimented, not believing how large the rooftop was. There was at least close to forty people max out here. There were tables and chairs, three large party speakers and food all over. It seemed like a catering for a wedding rather than just a party.
