"HAI" Yuji yelled as he stood up, moving his right hand to his forhead and gave the teacher a salutation. The teacher looked surprised then gave a stern look. He flinched.
"I was checking the attendance Matsumoto-san, please sit down and remove your earphones." said the teacher. The people around him giggled, and he unfortunately caught the attention of a certain blonde boy.
Yuji nodded and removed it from his ears, just now noticing that song was still playing and blasting loudly. He groaned and slumped down his chair, receiving a disapproving look from his teacher, he pulled his eyelid down and stuck his tongue once as she turned away.

Yuji made no attempt to make friends, unless you count the boy who's pencil he picked up one of them. After eating the bento which he prepared this morning, he made his way to the gym.
He looked around the gym to see if there were people in it since he was also looking for the captain for his club application.
When he noticed that no one was there, he decided to just play around to buy some time before his next class.
He grabbed a ball and went behind the line. He was thankful that the net was set up even though no one was there yet. He bounced the ball first before throwing it up and performing a powerful jump serve. A loud smack echoed and he grinned as he saw that he successfully hit it in the corner.
He grabbed another ball and was about to perform another jump serve.
"Oh?"
Yuji looked behind him to see a boy with a buzzcut ,a silver-haired boy with a beauty mark, and another one that had cropped brown hair and a buff build. His vibe gave off the 'captain' vibe and Yuji immediately understood that.
"Sorry to intrude, I was waiting for members to show up and decided to kill some time." He bowed politely. "I'm Matsumoto Yuji from class 1-4. Pleasure to meet you all senpai,"
The boys knew who he was and were both surprised and excited to have such good player in their presence, but despite this, they didn't let their guard down. Especially Tanaka. He gave Yuji a face that meant to scare him.
"You look constipated senpai, I have some medicine in my bag if you want." said the first year.
"Huh" Tanaka looked at the captain. "Daichi-san! Are you seeing this? This kid just dissed me." He complained. Daichi shook his head at the second year. "He's right Tanaka, you do look constipated, and why do you refer to him as a kid? He's only a year younger and he looks more mature than you do," An arrow shot through Tanaka's chest as he heard what his friend said.
"HAH?" Tanaka yelled. Yuji looked at Daichi to see him talking to Sugawara, so Yuji pulled his eyelid down and stuck his tongue at Tanaka. The latter saw this and his jaw dropped at the act of his kouhai.
"Daichi senpai, I would like to apply to this club. Please consider this. Thank you!" Yuji said as he gave the captain his club application form and bowed. He ran out the gym and went back to his classroom.
He realised he hasn't conversed with the silver haired beauty, who he indeed found cute and pretty, even for a boy.
'who was he'
"Matsumoto. You're late." "Sorry sensei."
'ughhwhhwgwhsh' He slumped in his seat once again and daydreamed about a certain silver haired boy he just saw. He looked out the window with a dreamy face. The blonde beside him gave him a weird look and payed no attention to him.
'As long as he doesn't bother me' Tsukishima said in his mind.
"Psst."
'Damn it. Spoke to soon.' thought the blonde.
"You're hot, blondie. What's your name?" Yuji asked but was ignored. He pouted and kept bothering him.
"Matsumoto. Out! Now!" The teacher yelled. The boy looked at his sensei with a shocked pikachu face.
He complied and went out, not even arguing, but also not letting the teacher get away without giving his famous act of sticking his tongue out. Since he thought the class was boring anyways, and he could really use a snack right now.
Yuji made his way to the vending machine and bought an orange soda. He sat down on the bench near it and ate the chips he brought with him. He layed down after eating and put his airpods on, blasting "Get You" by Daniel Ceasar.
He boy drifted to sleep and while waiting for the bell that indicated their dismissal.
