There's silence between the two of you for a bit.

"Wait. Is this about Violet?" You asked as Kira tosses his phone back into his pocket.

"Might be. But I have a feeling it's about you."

You stand up.

"I think I better go home. I-I don't even know how to process any of this Kira. This is all too much." You say reaching down for your bag.

Kira gazes at you.

"Yeah. If I were in your position, I'd be shocked and confused too. I'll take you home." He says.

"No thanks. I just want to be left alone for now." You say taking a deep breath.

He opens his mouth to argue when a voice suddenly shouts to both of you.

Looking over to where the parks entrance is you see a tall boy.

"Kira! Mom wants us home now!" He tells scowling his hands in his pockets.

The boy is tall with black hair and glimmering blue eyes.

He glares at the both of you.

"Christ.. I forgot about Arlo." Kira sighs then smiles at you.

"Guess I can't walk you home. Good thing you live so close by. I got to head home. I'll see you tomorrow."

With that he quickly pecks your cheeks and walks to Arlo.

"When did you get a girlfriend?" You hear as they both leave.

You watch them and touch where Kira kissed you.

Kira was a seriously strange guy.

You can feel yourself getting a bad headache.

It was all too much to process right now. You just needed to head home.

It takes you about 8 minutes to get home.

By the time you head into your house, your headache has gotten much worse.

"Mom?" You call out weakly as you walk into the living room.

No answer.

You sigh then head into the kitchen.

There you find a note.

"Don't cause me trouble. I'll be home next Monday."

It was all that said with some money next to the note.

You run your temples and grab the bottle of Tylenol near the sink.

Popping two in your mouth you wash them down with some water.

After that you just head to your room.

You lay down on your bed and continue rubbing your temples.

God, today was something else.

Kira told you he loved you. He also said Violet was keeping you nearby because she wanted you to die.

You lay wincing as you thought about it.

While Violet had never explicitly shown any aggression or anger towards you, you never once knew what she was really thinking.

She had always seemed just very clueless and innocent.

It would make sense if she was faking it all.

But why did she want you dead? And how the hell did Kira know all this?

This was all too much to process. You got up and stripped off your clothes.

You just needed a shower and maybe some food.

Then tomorrow you would talk to Kira more.

Perhaps he really could help you.

While you were in the shower, Violet stood in her bedroom staring at her phone.

She felt pissed.

You hadn't texted her back in over an hour.

And if damn William hasn't interrupted her, she could've go down and watched you wake up.

She lets out an angry huff.

Not to mention..

She scrolls through her pictures until she stops at one.

One was a picture of you and Kira.

Both of you walking together.

She stares at the picture feeling beyond pissed.

This Kira was going to ruin everything. Everything Violet had been working so hard for.

"I'm going to ruin you." She whispers as she sends the picture to an unknown contact.

A knock on her door makes her jump.

"Violet dinners ready."

Violet plasters on her infamous sweet smile.

Placing her phone on her nightstand, she walks out of her room.

The last message lightening up.

"Don't worry. I'll take care of everything."
