EVERYONE KNEW THE CLASSIC Greek tragedy of Icarus and the Sun, of an ambitious boy who flew too close to the brightest star in the sky. However, no only really talked about how Icarus and the Sun were in love. Of years spent looking out of his prison, Icarus saw the flaming Sun and fell in love, and the Sun fell for him, too. So when his father gave him wings, he went against his wishes, and flew to his lover in the sky. They barely touched, of heating and fiery hugs and kisses, before he fell from the star. And he fell into the jealous ocean, who hated how he loved the Sun, and died. And the Sun cries still for her lost love. Icarus and the Sun, a story of love and destruction and no happy ending.

THAT IS HOW THIS STORY will go. Of Astraea Parrish, young and angry and sad, and Percy Jackson, who was a hero in the making. Astraea, who is the opposite. She is a spy for the enemy, she is not the hero but the villain, the monster the demigods fight everyday. Astraea is the dumb Icarus who fell for the Sun, for Percy. And Percy, unknowing of her desires and end goal, fell for her too. But this story is too similar to Icarus and the Sun, and they may end in fire and destruction and sadness too. But first, a good story has a beginning and a middle, so settle down and enjoy the little happiness and love you'll receive of the daughter of the sun and son of the sea.
