ch. 15

I stand next to my parents and Jay as we celebrate Mal and Ben's engagement. After everything that we've been through we managed to save Auradon and Audrey. Uma and her crew and Celia went back to the isle and I'm actually pretty sad about that.

Mal starts making a speach and when she says that we need to bring the barrier down Jay and I couldn't contain our excitement.

Fairy godmother handed Mal her wand and Jay, Carlos and Evie stood beside Mal as she brought the barrier down around the isle. Once it was down we could hear the people on the isle celebrating before they started coming over to our side and we greeted them with open arms.

"She did it!" Uma says as she sees me and I smile.

"I hoped that she would. If she didn't do it then I would've." She smiles back at me.

"So what do you do here?" She asks.

"I'm the royal council/advisor to my brother." I answer.

"So you give him ideas and help him with paperwork?" She asks and I shrug.

"Kinda like that. I was the one who did all the paperwork for the vk kids to come over. Each vk kid on that isle has paperwork to come over here and I had them all completed. Even yours." I explain and she looks impressed.

"Of course that was before the barrier was brought down." I nod.

"Sorry Uma but I would like to steal my girlfriend." Jay says as he wraps his arms around me.

"Go ahead. You worked hard to get her." Uma smiles and I grin up at Jay.

"He did." Jay kisses me.

"Abby do you know what today is?" He asks and I look confused. "It is the start of the rest of our lives." I smile. "So I have one question. Will you start it with me as my wife?" I stare at him with wide eyes as he gets down on one knee and pulls out a simple diamond ring.

"Girl you better say yes." Uma says as she nudges me and I look around and see everyone waiting for my answer. I sigh with a small grin.

"Even if I told you no then you still wouldn't listen." I joke and he laughs as he slides the ring on my ring finger.

"True." I kiss him.

"I love you." I state.

"I love you too."
