welcome to the story!
1) this is based off of the netflix original television series, stranger things, so all of the characters will be played by their respective actors.
2) this will take place around the time of season three, and certain things will be the same as the real plot, but there will be big changes
3) this is NOT about the actors finn wolfhard and noah schnapp, it's about the characters mike wheeler and will byers, the actors are just who the characters are portrayed by in the show and this story!
4) this is based around the song heather by conan gray, so if you haven't listened to that song, i suggest you do. when you listen to it, it'll make more sense why this fanfic is based off of the song and the song is really good.
5) i got the idea to write a byler story from a few other byler stories i've read, and i got the idea to base it off of the song because i heard it in a byler edit and thought it was perfect for a byler story.
6) ⚠️ i DO NOT own any of the characters from the show nor do i own any of the plot from the show, but i do own parts of the plot that i make up and any characters that i make up. ⚠️
7) ⚠️ TRIGGER WARNING ⚠️ swears and/or slurs WILL be used in this story ONLY because the 80's were a very homophobic time, so i apologize in advance if anyone is hurt by it. i myself am part of the LGBTQ+ community, so i can completely understand if you get upset. at first i forgot to put a trigger warning, but i'm relieved that i put one now.
