It was just a normal day at Hogwarts, or so you thought.

You walk down your dorm, and to the common room, there you saw, Draco, with his friends, or, minions, i suppose.

Draco, well, for the last five years, he flirts and argues with you here and there. It's like a love-hate relationship between the two of you. And because you were soft, you fell for those flirty things he has said to you

Not that you would admit it, but you actually like- or even love- him.

Although, it seemed different this year. He became more quiet. He still say things about you sometimes, but it's become less

You walk across the couch, and to the exit of the common room, noticing Draco's eyes on you. Turning around, you catch Draco's eyes, and said, "if you're going to say something, say it now"

Everything became silent. Everyone was looking at the both of you, feeling the tension.

Malfoy's eyebrows rose up. But he cleared his throat and stood up, saying, "you're a pathetic excuse for a witch"

Raising your eyebrows, you said, "you already used that line on me", and with a smirk, you exit the common room.

You were honestly really tired of Draco's remarks. But you couldn't help but notice something wrong with him. He's not as annoying as he was before, and even though it just might be puberty, you still think there's something else about it.

Something bothering him.

You dont know what it is, but, you're eager to find out. Not because you want to black mail him, you actually want to help him.

People these days are too busy to look at the bad, so they're missing the greater picture. And you know, Draco is more than the sum of his parts.

You walk through the empty 7th floor corridors of Hogwarts, reading a book. You liked reading books, they're fascinating. Each book has its own special quirks, making it one of a kind.

The reason you were on the 7th floor, was because, no one goes there, and it's just really peaceful. Not to mention, the view from the windows were amazing, seeing as it was pretty high up.

As you were just gonna turn the page, a person bumped into you, making your book fall, "hey!", you exclaimed, kneeling down to grab the book, but the man already beat you to it

He gave it to you, you looked up, and saw Draco's tired face, "i apologize", he said, giving you the book and walking away

You turn around, he was a couple of steps away from you, "did you just apologize to me?", you surprisingly asked

Draco stopped, and you swore you heard him curse under his breath. He turned around, his cold expression on, "what are you even doing on this floor? You're not supposed to be here"
