somehow you're the only thing
that can save me from myself
[sedating my miserable mind
that haunts my every thought -
one minute singing chants of heaven
and then the next, hyms of hell]you and your callisto colored cheeks,
always bright enough to pull me through
[pull me through almost anything it seemed];
you and your ethereal eyes,
so mystical i could blink
and possibly miss them
[and god, would missing them be a crime];
and especially your frenetic fingers,
so hasty yet sure
[i wouldn't ever dream of
never holding them again]you were so bright and beautiful
i'd hate to not live another day
seeing your beautiful smile
[solely because my thoughts wouldn't silence]
