Narrator's pov

"Sooooo Aelia, word around the street is that little fag cheated on you" Jake said as he sat down next to Aelia.

He looked like the typical asshole, a snapback with his messy, brown, curly hair hanging freely. He turned the seat around so his chest was pressed against the back of the chair. His arms hung on the chair top and he held a wicked smirk on his tight cheekbones. Only if his personality was different, he would actually be attractive. Aelia wondered what she saw in him in the first place.

"You can't cheat if you weren't together in the first place" Aelia mumbled

"So she did cheat. You left me to be cheated on Aelia?" he questioned

"I left you because you weren't the person I thought you were, and I had to figure out myself Jake" Aelia said as she shoved a fry in her mouth

"Come on Aelia, we both know you left me so you could be with that girl and now she fucked up. You're here alone and she's over there working her voodoo on some girl"

"What are you talking about?" Aelia asked facing the human turd

"There's something weird about that girl, I can't remember much of what happened but the last I saw was her eyes being full on black. The next thing I knew, I was on the ground coughing blood and struggling to breathe"

"Are you sure you're not just making up excuses because a girl beat you up Jake?" Aelia smirked

"NO SHE DIDN-" Jake slammed the table with his fist, Aelia flinched. He immediately regretted letting his temper take control

"No she didn't, just, trust me. There's something unnatural about that girl" Jake said motioning to Luna who just entered the cafeteria

"I can't trust you Jake and you know why. Now can you please leave me alone"

"Come on Aelia, I know you miss me" Jake said, he trailed his fingers along Aelia's smooth arm. His fingers felt like needles against her skin

"Can you stop" Aelia said shoving Jake's hand away

"But you love me" He said, his hands gripped Aelia's arm

"Jake, stop it" She hissed

"Come on Aelia, i-" Jake cut stopped mid-sentence, his hands started to tremble, he gasped for breath. Aelia furrowed her eyebrows, Jake held his throat like he was fighting an imaginary rope. His lips quivered and his face turned red. His chest burnt

"Jake?!" Aelia screamed

Oxgyen finally returned to his lungs, he panted for breath, the gas pulled into his lungs and cleared his passageway. His chest heaved as he tried to stable his breathing. Aelia looked at the boy dumbfounded, she snapped her neck around to see Luna across the room glaring at boy.

"What the fuck just happened?"
She thought.

Aelia knew she couldn't trust Jake, for months now they've been on a rocky road. At the beginning of their relationship was peaceful, it was the normal puppy love relationship that we all start off with. But it seemed as though Jake got a little too comfortable months into the relationship. He started acting different. Jake felt powerful, being the quarterback and having the head cheerleader around his arm like arm candy.

Him dumbass friends hyped him up and made him feel like king of highschool, he felt in control of everything and so he tried to take control. If Aelia didn't follow as he said, he would make her.
