Introduction:

Hello everyone! This is all the information you need to know about all monthly contests.

Here you will find:

How many people can enter yearly contests?

There is no maximum about of people that can enter a yearly contest.

What do you have to submit/enter?

You have to submit a whole story with a minimum of 10,000 words or 10 poems. Remember you have a year to do this!

Where should we find your writing?

You should have your writing in your works! We should be able to go into your profile and see it there. You will know we have read it when we vote or comment.

How will you submit your writing/entry?

To enter you must go to the specific contest book, there will be a part that's labeled something with the word enter. You can enter there.

Can you begin writing during the entry dates?

Yes, you may begin writing during the entry dates, though do not expect a better outcome from it. You can begin writing whenever you want during the contest period.

Can you submit something you have already written?

Yes, you can submit something you have already written though we will only read 10 chapters plus a prologue, If you are submitting various poems, we will read 6 poems. Do not worry this will not jeopardize your outcome.

How many chapters/poems will we be reading?

If you have written something/s for the specific challenge we will read all you have written, as you did put the effort into it specifically for this. Again If you are submitting something you have already written we will only read 10 chapters plus a prologue, or 6 poems.

If you have submitted a book or poem, may you change it before the evaluation and award dates?

Yes you may change your book or poem before the due date, though please note that this may cause some interference, and your book will become the last priority. So, please make sure you choose the right book, or poems!

Can you enter a competition after the entry dates?

Yes, but you may only enter a competition late by 2 months. If you enter late your book or poems will become last priority and may or may not be evaluated.

How will your entries be evaluated?

Entries will be evaluated from first submitted to last submitted unless yours has become last priority. They will be evaluated out of one-hundred with 9 different categories such as punctuation, structure, engagement, over-all enjoyability, etc. Every contestant will automatically gain 10/100 for entering. Each judge will take three categories and at the end all judges will add there scores together to get your overall mark out of 100.

Will you receive feedback?

If you request so, we can give you feedback, just make sure you remember that we have other people's books to evaluate as well. We will assign a judge to be in charge of giving feedback. If you request feedback make sure to mention whether you'd like your feedback through email or DM's.
