Luna's pov

-

"Did my ears just fail me or?"

"I said Yes Luna! Ofcourse I'll be your girlfriend" Aelia chuckled

"Wait, really?" I questioned, I'm just teasing her

"Yes Luna. A thousand times yes" Aelia said as she grabbed my cheeks and peppered kisses all over my face

"But under one condition" oh-

"What's that?" I questioned as I held her firmly in my waist

"We promise to trust each other, I don't want something like that breaking us up again. It hurt like hell to lose you before and I'm not gonna let that happen again" she mumbled, my heart fluttered and a smile crept onto my lips

How lucky am I?

"I promise" I said and pecked her lips
"Now, are you coming in here with me?" I asked as I pulled my shirt over my head

"Are you seriously taking a dive in there?" She questioned, climbing off my lap

"Dixie chicks serious" I said, slowly sliding the shorts down to my ankles.
I felt her eyes on my body and I bent down to unhooked my shorts from my ankles

"So will you be coming?" I smirked

"What if I said I can't swim?"

"Then you'll drown in this puss-"

"Luna!" she yelled, I chuckled and held her hands

"I'll be right here to keep your head above water" I said and kissed her knuckles

Aelia stood to her feet and pulled off her uniform, the red and white clothing fell to the ground and I stared at her body from in the water. I missed her, I missed touching her.

Aelia's toes entered first and slowly the water reached below her collar. She held onto me for dear life, my hands held her waist firmly underwater.

"I got you" I mumbled, her fingers played with the small hairs on the nape of my neck

"You're really sweet you know that?" she questioned

"Wanna taste?" I smirked, Aelia glared at me

"I'm serious, you're so unlike everyone I know. Not because you didn't know what a phone was a couple weeks ago, but because of who you are. You're so different, you're the most caring person I know and I'm so fucking lucky to have you" Aelia mumbled, her eyes piercing through mine

She was the most astonishing girl I ever met... easy to talk to and fun to be around. There's beauty in being a good listener, someone who seeks to make connections and joy and see things from new perspectives. She had safe eyes, perhaps that's the best way to say it. She had a beauty that made those billboard-princesses look as paper thin as they are, she was something robust and real. That was my girl, it was her before she was mine and it was her all of her days.

Her emotions were not easily hidden on her face. Her pain was evident in the crease of her lovely brow and the down-curve of her full lips. But her eyes, her eyes showed her soul.

As I looked into her eyes I knew, all the beauty of the universe could not even hope to compete with this simple thing: passion. Passion turned her eyes into orbs of the brightest fire, and in them I read clearly that she would fight to the very last tear for her life. She would not let the world break her.

I leaned in and attached our lips, I kissed her like she wanted to be kissed. Soft and moist, and hot and breathy, not trying to win a battle but trying to seek union and closeness and sharing one breath, one sensation, one timeless and passionate moment.
