FORTY SIX

Monique's POV

After our conversation, Haechan and I went down to the town to grab some foods to bring home for Goldilocks and the bears. We ended up buying three boxes of chocolate muffins and two rose-like cotton candies for ourselves.

I ate the strawberry-flavored cotton candy as we walked out of the kingdom. Haechan told Koko to wait outside. "I wish we could stay, but I'm pretty tired myself." I exclaimed and chuckled lightly.

"We're going to sleep at Goldie's for the night, then we go back to our house." Haechan said and ate the edible leaves of the candy. I just nodded but then I realized he said 'our' house instead of 'my'. Maybe he meant by him and Elyas so I shrugged it off and we went on Koko to go back to Snow.

As the horse went up back to the sky, Haechan suddenly said, "You know, I could take you here again." I smiled. "That would be lovely." He nodded and stayed silent for the rest of the ride.

Koko slowly landed in front of Goldilocks' house. We mounted off and waved goodbye to the horse. He neighed then flew off to his stable in Pinocchio's. Haechan and I went inside.

"We bought chocolates!" He shouted as soon as we entered. "No! Less chocolates for you." Goldilocks' voice boomed. She appeared in front of us wearing a yellow night gown and snatched a box away from Haechan.

She opened it and took a bite of a muffin. "Oh, it's not a bar." Baby Bear said sadly. I brought out the chocolate bar I secretly purchased earlier at Charming and handed it to him. "Here you go."

He looked surprised and grabbed on the golden-wrapped bar. He hugged me and said, "Thank you, Monique." I said my welcome then he rushed to his room. "Don't eat it all up in one night!" Mama Bear reminded.

Haechan placed the two boxes on the table while Goldilocks sat down on the couch and ate the muffins herself. "Thanks, Haechan! These are delicious!" Her hair was also curled, I noticed.

"So, we're going to sleep on the couch?" The male asked and Goldie nearly spat her chewed food. She smiled awkwardly. "Yeah, sorry about that. I'll go to my room then. Oh," She pulled something from below the couch. It was an extra bed.

"You two decide who's going to sleep in here or here," She said and motioned to the couch and bed. "Anyway, it's late. You two should sleep." Goldilocks added and hopped back to her bed room.

I ate one muffin from the second box and plopped on the extra bed. "What are you doing, missy?" I raised a brow at Haechan. "Dozing off to sleep?" He shook his head like he was my father or something.

I shrieked when he suddenly lifted me up and placed me on the couch. "You're sleeping there, and that's that. No buts." He said and went to Mama Bear's room to probably get us some pillows and blankets.

Sighing, I just let it be. He later came back with what I had guessed and handed a pillow and a blanket to me. I placed the pillow on the side and I lied down, making myself comfortable.

"You sure you're going to be okay there?" I asked Haechan. He nodded and raised a thumb up. "Yes. Just go to sleep. Sweet dreams." I smiled and closed my eyes. "Good night. Sweet dreams as well."

I was slowly drifting off to dreamland when he suddenly shouted, "Lights off!" The lights did turn off, but I was awake once again. I lifted my head from the pillow and glared at him. "You should have done that earlier."

He grinned sheepishly and rolled to the side where he's facing me. "Sorry. Now, go to sleep." He pinched my left cheek softly then immediately pulled back his hand. He closed his eyes and didn't do anything afterwards.
