Faith had been sitting outside for almost the entire day.
Her friends had talked to her a couple hours ago, and they were satisfied that she was fine.
Her phone was off.
Her sunglasses were on.
And she was soaking up the sun.Her outdoor speaker had been on shuffle, now playing "Savage" by Megan Thee Stallion (a fucking QUEEN btw).
I'm a savage (yeah)
Classy, bougie, ratchet (yeah)
Sassy, moody, nasty (hey, hey, yeah)
Acting stupid, what's happening? Bitch (whoa, whoa)
What's happening? Bitch (whoa, whoa)As the song faded out, Faith sighed. As much as that song made her feel like a badass, Daniel's words echoed in her head.
"All you care about is yourself at this point, okay?"
"God, you're so annoying!"
"I don't even understand, just leave me the fuck alone, bitch!"Her head was spinning.
Daniel couldn't have meant it, right?Faith has been called annoying, fat, ugly, slut, whore,
and so many other profanities, and she usually brushed it off, because she knew she wasn't any of that, but, coming from Daniel, someone she cared so deeply about, hurt her.More than she knew.
Faith began to think that she really was what everyone, including Daniel, said she was-
an annoying bitch that needed to leave everyone alone. But, as she thought more about it, she-
"Move, you fuckin' idiot!"
"Guys, can y'all shut the fuck up,"
"Can we get Chipotle?"
"Who the fuck you think you talking to, huh, dipstick?"
"An idiot, that's who,"Five familiar voices coming from the front yard of Faith's house immediately told Faith instinctively to go back in her house and lock the door.
And she did.
Just as the boys of Why Don't We approached Faith's locked back gate leading to the backyard, Faith sprinted the length of her lawn and quietly and quickly pulled the sliding door shut, locked it, then ran downstairs to her studio.
