  Hey Everyone!

So this story isn't performing very well anymore unfortunately, so I am considering ending it with this book. I'm losing inspiration and life is becoming very hectic. I don't want to end it, so please don't be afraid to leave feedback!

About the updates, I can't say they will get better. But I am trying. One of my parents has major health issues right now and with COVID everything is stressful. I am very sorry. I hope you enjoy this chapter!

I watch everything like the fast forward option on a DVD player. Peter and Quentin fight hard against the beast but something seems odd as we fight.

As I was flying through midair, I collided with something, it flying to the side of the building. But that wasn't the only thing, as I hit the ferris wheel hard, landing with force. Harsh coughs escape me, each one sending sharp pains through my chest like fire and swords. The colours around me light up with fire as I look and see the monster preparing for the final blow. By reflex,  I stand and hold his hand in place, my hands in front of me alight with power. Peter drops beside me and so does Quentin, his shield protecting all of us as I stumble a bit.

"Er-"

"Quiet." I mumble under my breath to Peter, rolling my shoulders for the next fight.

Quentin explains the plan, he runs to the left and flies away. Peter and I run to the right, running towards the building. He tries to grab onto me but I throw him onto the building with my hands alight. Within seconds, I crouch on the ground with my arms protecting my head and fade through the flames. Looking through the smoke, I watch as Quentin and Peter throw anything that wasn't metal at him. I join them with ease, floating multiple rocks up into the air and shooting them like bullets into the firey beast.

Blow after blow, Peter, Quentin and I fight the beast and to protect each other. The battle comes to it's head and it deceptively seems like all hope is lost. Quentin then makes the "ultimate sacrifice", sending Peter into a fit of hysteria, breaking my heart in the process. But when it was all said and done, Quentin was perfectly fine.

After the whole fiasco with Fury, Peter and Quentin went for drinks. I politely declined, instead opting to sneak into the alleyway once the boys had left. I found the bot that caught my eye earlier, but that's not the only thing I found in that alleyway.

I also found MJ.
