We pulled up to the movies and hopped out

"I ain't wanna go too overboard our first date ya feel me?" LJ said making me nod

"I ain't wanna go somewhere to extreme either I just wanted to chill with you" I said shrugging

He wrapped his arm around me as we walked to the ticket booth

"What movie?" The lady asked making me think

"Bae you what chu wanna watch?" LJ asked

"Ummm that Bad boys movie" I said making him nod

"2 tickets for bad boys for life" the lady said as she typed it on the computer

"Where would you guys like to sit?" She asked

As I looked at the seating it wasn't that many taken

"Well take the ones in the back the far back" he said making her nod

"Okay that will be $26" she smiled handing us the tickets

LJ reached in his pocket pulling out a band and giving her a $100 bill

She gave him change back and he handed it to me

"Well damn what's this for?" I asked counting it as we walked inside

"Shit spend it on what chu like he said as we walked over to the food place standing in line

Imma spend it on me foreal

"Next in line" the man at the cash register yelled

We walked to th counter and I looked at what was up there

"What may I get for you guys?" He asked looking between me and LJ

"Go ahead mamas" LJ said making me blush a little

"Lemme get a 6 piece chicken tender meal and a coco cola slushee" I said making him nod

"Give me some nachos , a large popcorn, and a cherry slushee" LJ shrugged

"That will be $35.59" the man said holding out his hand

These people know they can over price some shit

LJ payed and we went off to the side to wait for it too cook

"Mani what chu do fa a living?" LJ asked making me turn to him

"I do online college classes" I laughed a little "but on my free time I sell lashes and model clothes" I shrugged

"What chu do?" I asked back

"Sell drugs" he said lowly making me nod

Shit can't complain he buying all my shit

"Well at least you doing sum to get some money" I said trying to lighten his mood up

"You right can't have my family out here starving" he said making me nod

"Order number 56" a lady yelled making me look down at our receipt

"That's us" I said walking over to her

She gave us the food and walked off to the back

We grabbed everything we needed and made our way past the ticket checker into the movie

"It's bout dark as fuck in here" I mumbled as we walked up the steps to our seat

"Bae it is a movie theater it gotta be dark" LJ laughed

"You right" I shrugged as we walked down our isle

We found our seats and put all the food down sitting

"Long ass trailers" I mumbled pulling out the thing to lay my feet out

"You want some popcorn?" LJ asked holding it out for me to get

I grabbed a handful putting some in my mouth

After a while the lights beamed down and the movie started to play I opened my chicken tenders and started dipping it in all the sauces as I ate

"You want some nachos?" LJ asked

A nigga that share food..look at god

I grabbed one of his nachos and gave him one of my chicken tenders

He wrapped one of his arms around as the movie sunk in

It felt so relaxing to get away from the niggas at the house and my friends for once

I just felt so free..free of kentrell..free of the toxicity..of any doubt in the world
