Iron man Daddy's little genius

Ch. 33 "Sleep"

                                               Maisie POV

I'm sitting in the lab so Bruce can have a look at my throat, he has gloves on and a little light, Daddy is standing behind looking also, 

"Now Maisie I want you open as wide as you can and say AHH," Bruce said 

I did as I was told, 

I see Bruce looking in my mouth with the flashlight, and Daddy hovering over his shoulder, 

"Well Maisie it seems that you're throat is almost healed up," Bruce said taking his gloves off 

"So does that mean I'm allowed to talk finally?" I asked tilting my head 

Bruce chuckled, 

"I'd say it's safe for you to speak," Bruce said 

"About time," I said hopping off the table

Both Daddy and Bruce chuckled, 

"Maisie run along I have somethings I need to discuss with Bruce," Daddy said 

I nodded 

with that I walked out all the way to the roof of the tower, I laid on my back looking up at the stars, I wonder if she's gone for good or is gonna come back seeking revenge? i thought looking up at the sky, 

I haven't been able to sleep, I mean I will stay in my room hoping that Jarvis won't tattle on me I thought, 

but I'm running on fumes I thought 

"Why are you always up here?" I heard daddy's voice 

I just shrugged standing up, 

"Come on little lady it's way past you're bed time," Daddy said picking me up

"I'm not tired," I said 

"Too bad," He said with a smirk, 

After getting dressed in pajamas and brushing my teeth and Daddy tucking me in I felt my eyelids become heavy, 

                                    Nightmare

I see that it's dark, I can't see anything but my breath from the cold, 

"Hello..." I said holding myself since I was cold, 

I hear moment all around me, 

"Who whose there?" I said 

"You think you're safe..." A voice said 

"Death follows all who protect you," The voice said 

then I see all the avenger dead with cold eyes and I see

"Daddy!" I yelled running to him shaking him 

"Daddy! Wake up! Please Wake up!" I said as I continued to try and wake him up 

when I realized it was no use I laid my head on his chest, tears rolling down my cheeks, 

"I need you..." I said 

"Now it's you're turn," The voice said 

a bloodied hand reached for me

"No!" I yelled 

                          End Nightmare 

I gasped awake, looking around realizing that no one was around that I was safe,

I crawled out of bed, tip toeing to daddy's room, Seeing him and Pepper asleep, do I disturb them or just suck it up? I thought as I was debating this Pepper rubbed the sleep from her eyes, 

"Maisie is everything alright?" She whispered trying not to wake Daddy 

"Um.. well, I uh um," I said stumbling over my words

"Come on sweetheart, you can sleep with us tonight, I won't tell," She said with a sweet smile 

I nodded slowly crawling in-between her and Daddy, 

"Goodnight sweetie," Pepper said kissing my forehead

"Goodnight," I said slowly falling asleep
