"Glimpse at Fireflies"
•⊱✿•✿⊰•⊱✿•✿⊰•⊱✿•✿⊰•⊱✿•

Running away from
The made-up lies
That my head keeps telling me;

For it screams too loud
That I couldn't hear
The sound of truth.

Been tripped by the rocks
For it is too dark
Yet, I keep running anyway.

Until I had a glimpse
Of a little light
Like it's saying; chase after me.

I followed it despite of
My views are getting bleary;
Walking even though I'm weary.

For all I want is to escape
From regrets and mistakes,
And from this devoid darkness.

So I am grateful,
For this tiny ball of light;
A little firefly guiding me-

Into a sparkling dreamland.
A dreamland that lures my mind
To escape from its made-up lies.

Slowly, it devoured my thoughts.
For it got lured by glimpsing
Into ten thousand fireflies.
