Y/N's POV

The soft crash of waves washing up on the shore filled the comfortable silence. I linked my hand with Leo's, swinging it slightly as we walked slowly down the length of the beach. I wasn't wearing anything fancy, it wasn't like I owned fancy clothes anyway. We had been walking for about ten minutes when Leo decided to speak up.

"You know, you don't have to do this just to make me feel better." Leo mumbled, choosing to avoid eye contact by looking out at the water.

"That's not why I'm doing it." I replied smoothly, a small smile tugging at the corners of my mouth, amused by Leo's shyness.

"Okay." Leo gave an airy, forced chuckle. "And now the truth."

"That is the truth, Leo." I told him with a confident tone. I decided to stop so that he would be forced to look at me. I moved to stand in front of him when he came to a halt. His eyes don't waver from the ocean. "I wouldn't go out with someone unless I wanted to."

"Hey, look at me." I voiced softly, using my free hand to turn his uncertain gaze towards me. "I'm serious. I really do want to be here with you." Leo still had an uncertain look on his face and I sighed. "What's it gonna take for you to understand?" I said it aloud but meant it more as a rhetorical question directed at myself. Still, that didn't stop Leo from coming up with an answer. One which made him blush. His darkening shade didn't go unnoticed by me. "What is it?" I asked.

"N-nothing." Leo stuttered. "I-it's not like y-you'd do it anyway. So I-it doesn't m-matter."

"Oh come on." I smiled. "You can tell me!" Leo continued to silently stare at his feet. Afraid that the silence would become uncomfortable, I decided to take a bold step. I reached up, looping my hands around Leo's neck and moving onto my toes. I leaned in and gave him a short peck on the cheek. I giggled as Leo's blush managed to get worse.

"Y-you mi-missed." Leo's cocky smirk remained on his face despite his reddened face and obvious stutter. I gave a short laugh at Leo's reply before leaning in for another kiss, this time on the lips. It was a short kiss but it was sweet and comforting. Upon pulling away I notice how my hands are now tangled in Leo's wild brown hair and his strong arms are now wrapped around my waist.

"You promise you'll tell me next time?" I asked, concern filling my tone.

"W-what?" Leo sounded bewildered, like he was still caught up in the kiss.

"When you're having a panic attack." I confirmed for him. "We've gotta figure out a way that will let me know if your in trouble without me becoming your helicopter girlfriend."

"Girlfriend?" Leo replied with a confident smirk. Now it was my turn to blush.

"W-ell I was ho-hoping w-we could make th-this a regular th-thing." I couldn't help stumbling over my words as I tried to explain my choice of words. I buried my face in Leo's chest in an attempt to shy away from my embarrassment and to hide my growing blush. I regretted it instantly as all it had managed to achieve was to make Leo's mocking chuckles even louder.

"I was thinking the same thing." Leo replies with a warm smile.

"J-just make sure you get these attacks under control." I was glad that I only stuttered once.

"Just promise not to leave me once I'm all fixed up." Leo's fear was back.

"Never." I whispered back, the single word promise seemed to calm Leo down instantly.

"Gods, I'm so lucky to have you." Leo mumbled into my hair as he pulled my closer, allowing my to rest my head on his shoulder. We stayed like that for an eternity that was written in our minds as mere seconds. As we parted ways, I stumbled back to my cabin, my head too full of my new Latino boyfriend to properly see where I was going. Too in love to see anything else.

A/N: Sorry it's so short, I just didn't have any good ideas for it. I hope that the chapter was still enjoyable despite this. Oh, well. Bye for now!
