"Knock knock" Riley's familiar voice made me re open my eyes from my comfortable snuggle with Lucas "riles" I smiled. Her, Farkle, Zay and Isadora all piled into the hospital room, pulling up the chairs to sit around the bed. Riley looked so cute and innocent in her hospital gown, the first time I've seen her in years during the day without makeup on

"Maya you crazy bitch why would you go in after me! You could've died!" Riley worried as she sat down in her seat "I didn't though did i? And if I didn't go in, you would've because they wouldn't have found you by the time the roof fell in" I defend my decision

"Well thank you, nothing I ever say will show how grateful I am" She smiled kindly. We sat quietly for a few moments, enjoying each other's company before Farkle spoke up "how did you guys know?" He asked, his gaze switching from Lucas to Zay

"actually..I'd like to know that too" Isadora replied. Zay and Lucas shared a quick glance at each other "when we were at the museum I got a call from someone..they had used this word thing that completely randomised their voice, to the point where it sounded like a machine talking. It was muffled, but they said something about a fire, something about being out of the lodge by 10pm or else" Lucas stated, avoiding everyone's gaze

"I also got the call, all the college boys did, but none of the high school students" Zay added, backing up Lucas' statement "so why didn't you guys try to get everyone out of there?" I asked confused "well we weren't sure if it was actually gonna happen or just a prank call..Zay and I came to get you girls because If the lodge didn't burn, there was only 5 of us outside rather then 110" Lucas replied

"Cheers boys" Farkle squinted his eyes at the two of them making me chuckle from his sarcasm "we didn't know your room..sorry" Zay mumbled. "You know your gonna get questioned right? About why you didn't get everyone else out, you guys can go to jail!" Riley spoke up, an obvious look on her face.

"No we won't" Lucas replied quickly with a serious tone "what?" Isadora questioned confused "we aren't gonna get questioned because as far as all of the high school students know, we were inside the building too, and that's what we will say" Zay stated, nodding at Lucas.

"So your gonna lie? 57 students! Their blood are on your hands" Riley spat disgusted. I looked between the group, unsure of how I felt. Of course I didn't want Lucas to go to jail..did he do something wrong? Or was he just in the wrong place at the wrong time?

"What if we knew who started it..who caused the fire Riley? Then whos hands would the blood be on" Zay defence slightly annoyed "are you saying I did? Yes Zay, I lit fire to a building while me, while my two best friends, their new boo's, my boyfriend and my dad were all inside! And I decided to call you and Lucas during the museum trip because why would I call people I know and love over two complete strangers" She questioned, making zays point judgment on her sound crazy

"Zay Riley wouldn't do that" I defend her, pushing myself up more in my bed "No I didn't mean Riley did, I mean I know who did start the fire" he retorted

"well who?!" Farkle, Riley, Isadora and I pretty much all said in unison
