hi everyone! so this book will forever be my absolute favorite that I've written before. it's just so original and I enjoyed writing it.

but of course, all good things come to an end. I know I have yet to finish missing and I will most likely never get to complete the last few chapters. as I'm writing this note, it's april 22, 2020 and I started this book in the early summer of 2019. I've lost inspiration to continue missing a long time ago. I really wish I could finish it for you all, and I've tried, but I'm not sure if I should keep going.

for those who want to know what I wanted to happen in the end, I was originally gonna have melissa become trapped into the sewers and unable to leave. the losers would be forced to leave her and that would be the ending of missing. I was planning on a sequel as well where she would come back as an adult to join them in defeating penny wise again. I was also gonna have richie have these weird hallucinations of melissa all throughout his life but that's as far as I got for the sequel.
