I had just finished tryouts and got the best news ever.
Everyone was happy for me but Veronica was the happiest. She is really trying to change.
Even thought I'm not gonna forgive her that easy I thought I could say thank you .
I headed over to her on the bench and tapped her shoulder. "I just wanted to say that it means a lot that you're trying and thanks for letting me try out"
"Hey. It's no problem. In fact your actually the best on the team, we might have to do a little dance captain dance off", she laughed
I laughed with and said " Well umm I think I'm gonna go find Toni now soo yeah... bye."
"Wait C, I just wanted to say that it's great you found someone and if you haven't told her what happened, I warned the whole school that I would kill them faster than I can say pearls if they mention a word to any of your friends"
