I wake up in a hospital bed. Kairi is next to me. It looks like he's crying.

Kairi: Hope! Are you ok?
Hope: w-what happened?
Kairi: uh i'll tell you later but I need to know if your ok.
Hope: y-yeah.
Kairi; alright wait here.

He walked out. He comes back with everyone including Jaden who was holding crutches. Everyone looked relieved.

Mom: hunny are you ok!?
Hope: yeah i'm fine why am I here tho? I wanna go home.
Mom: uh you were in a coma for the past 3 days.
Hope: what- oh now I remember.
Jaden: what do you mean.

Hope: your dad abused me.
Mom: fuck.

She said that under her breath. Suddenly everybody besides my mom and Kairi were surprised.

Jaden: he's gonna be dead.
Kairi: ok calm down Jaden. No need for that.

Mattia; Jaden! All that matters is that Ezperanza is ok.
Jaden: your right i'm sorry.
Harmony; why didn't you tell us. After we basically begged you to. You need to trust. This wouldn't of happened if you told us.
Hope: I was scared ok!
Roshaun: i'm just glad my bestie is here.

I smiled at him. Then a doctor came in.

Doctor: Hey Ezperanza, i'm glad to see you awake. So hows the pain.
Ezperanza: the bruises hurt but it's manageable. I feel like I can walk but the most is running.
Doctor: ok then in that case your good to go. Just don't walk a lot for about a week.
Ezperanza: ok thank you.
Doctor: no problem, excuse me.

He walked out and we just got our stuff. We left and went to the house. Before walking in I stopped and took a deep breath.

Kairi: are you ok?
Hope: uh- is he here?
Mom: no he's at the police station.
Hope: ok.

I stepped in. They took me to my room. Everyone was being so overprotective as if I didn't go to school the day after that happened. We were just having fun in my room.

Alvaro: I want food.

Ezperanza: i'll order it Roshaun can you pass me my phone it's on the floor charging.

He looked around.

I started getting up and everyone flinched.
