Amethyst × Human Reader

Y/n's POV

     I was on a mission with the gems. We are trying to find some of the corrupted gems that ran away from Jasper. I have a sword that Pearl let's me use. I have been training with her for over a year which is why I'm allowed to go on missions like this with them. Amethyst, my weird girlfriend, was talking to me about her favorite things to eat. We all heard a noise and stopped walking. We heard it from all around us.

     "Look, there is multiple of them." I said as I pointed 4 different rocks that had something colourful poking out from behind it.

     "I've never seen this many all in the same place." Pearl said astonished.

     "Everyone be careful." Garnet said. We all nodded and went into battle.

     "Y/n, watch this." Amethyst yelled to me and she did a pretty cool jump and landed on the back of the corrupted gem. I hit the one I was fighting back as I shook my head at her while laughing.

     "That was cool babe but please be careful." I yelled back as I went over to Steven to help him out.

     Steven, Pearl and I poofed the gem we were fighting. I picked up the gem and tossed it to Steven who bubbled it. Steven then went after a corrupted gem as Pearl went to go help Garnet. I looked around for Amethyst as I was also watching my surroundings. When I saw her she was looking around for the gem that she lost. I then saw it charging up behind her.

     "AMETHYST! BEHIND YOU!" I yelled to her as I started running. I didn't warn her in time though. As she turned around the gem jumped on her and instantly poofed her. I jumped on the gem and poofed it. I didn't bother to give it to a gem to bubble it. I instantly bent down to hold Amethyst's gem. Her gem had a crack going down the middle of it. Tears streamed down my face the more I looked at her cracked gem. Steven ran up and bubbled the the corrupted gem. He warped it as he walked up to me.

     "N/n, she's okay. She will be back- oh no her gem is cracked." He said as he went down to my level. We could hear Pearl and Garnet poof the 2 corrupted gems behind us then run over.

     "Oh no, her gem." Pearl gasped as she reached us.

     "Steven, can you heal her?" Garnet asked as she bent down to our level. Pearl did the same and placed her hands on my shoulders.

     "Yeah. Y/n... can I?" Steven asked as he reached his hands out for her gem. I handed her to him and placed my hands on my lap. Garnet put a hand on mine for reassurance. Steven licked his hand and put it on Amethyst's gem. When he lifted his hand her gem was fixed. He handed her gem to me and we all stood up. I held her gem against my chest and wipped away a few tears that were falling.

     "She will be back before you know it Y/n. She never takes long." Garnet said reassuringly.

     "Watch this be the time that she takes forever." Pearl whispered to Garnet from behind me. She must have thought that I couldn't hear but I could. We warped back to the temple and I went to the bathroom to grab a towel. I wrapped it around Amethyst's gem and walked to my room.

No Ones POV

     The gems watched Y/n as she walked to her room without a word. Garnet looked the most concerned out of all of them.

     "Amethyst isn't gonna be back for a few days. Y/n isn't going to leave her side, she's not even going to leave her room unless she is going to the bathroom." Garnet said as she stared at Y/n's door. Steven looked up at her quizzingly.

     "What about eating?" Steven asked. Garnet looked down at him and slightly shook her head.

     "She's gonna claim to not be hungry every time we ask. The best we can do it try to force her too eat. To her, it's like Amethyst is in a coma and could just be gone forever at any point. She still doesn't fully understand gems the same way we do." Garnet explained to the two gems. Pearl nodded her head while Steven looked up at Y/n's room with a worried expression.
