Burning Candles is the story of a girl named "She" told in combination of alphabets and verses.
"She" represents the soft and troubled minds of most people in the society today and tells their stories of escapes from a seemingly"perfect" society that rests on the foundations of exterior beauty and fake perfectionism.
She is just an ordinary teen girl who sees ambitions and dreams of a better and truer society but with all the monsters that the society tames and trains, biting into her ankles, She has to fight and kill them while tearing out of a straightjacket of archaic thoughts, plastic beauty, cheap standards and orthodox rules.
Only time holds the answer to whether She will succeed in escaping or will be harrowed to death by the monsters hidden by the society.
"I want to hear your stories, are they similar to mine?
Sadly, they don't hear so I have to write
She, it will all be alright."
