The life of a superhero isn't all it's cracked up to be.
As soon as newly certified superhero Anna Green and her tech-support/best friend unpacked their bags in Nova City, they were thrown into the chaos. Bad guys lurking in alleys. Full-time jobs with the Conspiracy, an underground superhero corporation. Trying to keep their apartment liveably clean. Nightly patrols in Nova's poorest district.
Even if Anna could freeze every criminal and coworker in place, she wouldn't be able to catch up.
So when kids start to go missing and violent crime increases in Anna's patrol district, she doesn't know what to do. The Conspiracy is too busy with its own problems to help, so Anna asks for the help of a few old friends to help her. After all, Misfits are supposed to stick together.
