Watching Rill, his butler, Walter, talked about his past and I couldn't help but feel bad for him and Walter. Rill being shunned just because he liked drawing. I saw Rill get captured yet he ended up turning the battlefield into his canvas with different types of magic that was actually one. It was a beautiful sight. He eventually won yet he was criticising his own work endlessly saying certain parts could be better. His dedication was amazing.

Next up, Luck and Klaus went onto the battlefield. Klaus put up a lot of great steel barriers but one of the opponents managed to get through. Luck took centre stage after that. His lightning has completely changed and taken on a new form. It was so cool and honestly I was inspired to do better. He protected the crystal and completely destroyed the other in minutes. All in one hit, now that was truly amazing. He looked so happy too.

Yuno and Noelle were up next. Their teammate looked like he was on the verge of death. I felt incredibly bad for him. Their match started and Solid I believe or was it Liquid? No it's Nolid... Wait is it? My head hurts from thinking about names. Thankfully, Noelle reminded me by calling him Solid. The match started and they were busy arguing about their positions. Solid ended up up charging at them first. He was hell bent on going after Noelle.

Yuno's fast past wind magic gave them an advantage. The tired man ended up aiding Noelle by taking out one of the opponents with his mushrooms magic. Yuno took down the sandman easily stating he only had his dream to worry about. That man looked distraught. Finally, Noelle had the strength to beat her brother. Her water dragon was almost five times the size of his. His team was utterly demolished. Asta and I cheered loudly for them.

The first round was officially done, now all teams that won would be moving onto the second team. We were up first. We were against that weird petal guy, it was best to let Asta first cut down the petals and then go in. Asta listened and agreed. He went into his demon form and slashed the petals. Slowly, they started disappearing. Zora was mad because the traps he set up last night were gone. At least I was correct that he did set them up the night before.

Asta told Zora to make a plan. We used a cave to hide our crystal. We put a lot of traps down as I set up my vines. Mimosa was finding the crystal with her map magic which was really cool. Zora and I told Asta to dig a hole incase he got past all the experienced traps. The petal guy came first and set off all the experienced traps but he fell for the easy one because he overestimated us and forgot the basics. Asta knocked him out with his sword while I used my vines to bury him so he wouldn't get out.

A tree I grew there with super strong roots so he wouldn't get out. Next, Magna came and tried to take down the crystal. I left it to Asta while Mimosa and I went to take down the giant. Mimosa's seed grew out all around opened up and opening for me to go in with my vines and break it in one go. We cheered and high fived one another before we turned to our crystal.

We had won so I removed the tree but Petal guy didn't get the announcement since he still tried to go after ours with Magna. Asta went after Petal guy and defeated him a second time while I took down Magna with my vines. I yelled at both of them once they were defeated that their crystal was destroyed and it finally went through their heads.

Unendingly, Zora laughed down at Petal guy while Asta thought he was taking it too far. I told Asta that it was harsh but what Zora was saying was the truth. Mimosa talked to her brother about how glad she that he finally realised the beauty of commoners. As we left, Zora looked furious so I tried to calm him down. He just snarled at me but I knew he was putting up a tough front so I gave him a pat on the back and smiled. He calmed down slightly at my promise for more stew.

Finral's match with Leopold against Finral's brother was about to start. In all honesty, it was hard to tell what was going on since his brother kept getting counteracted by Finral while Leopold and the other teammate went to destroy the other crystal. His brother looked infuriated at having to use his real magic and I couldn't help but gulp in fear.

This magic felt like the time Fana was possessed. I shook Asta and warned him. We quickly warned all the Black Bulls taking the exam. My worst fear was proven right. Finral was completely beaten yet his brother was still trying to have a go at him. He wanted to kill Finral. My vines completely blocked off Finral from his brother with my arms burning that were ready to take action.

Asta, Luck and Magna had all stepped in too. They held their weapons against his neck as I turned to Finral. Even Charmy was there ready to take action. I got on my knees and placed my hands over his torso. His face was deathly pale like a ghost. Quickly, I started pouring in mana into my major spell.

Finral's wound slowly closed but he still looked deathly pale. Even Ouvern came over to help, he commented on how I did a good job as we both got to work. All major wounds and minor ones too dissepeared quickly. He would be out could for a week but he was well and alive. Ouvern placed a hand on my shoulder to offer comfort. It seemed that Yami had mentioned to him how I was easily influenced by my emotions when my friends were badly hurt. He tried soothing my anger by resting a hand on my shoulder.

"He's alive, it's alright. You did a great job. Calm down, you can't lose your cool here..."

"Thank you..."

Turning around, I saw Asta and Finral's brother about to fight but they got caught in the Magic Emperor's Chronostasis which held them in place. We were all teleported into a new area with the Magic Emperor announcing the rules. He stopped pausing Asta and Finral's brother so we could immediately begin the fight. Asta apologised for dragging us in this. Zora laughed hysterically as he agreed to join our battle. Mimosa and I agreed to as we took to wrapping the crystal in our vines.

This was no time to back down.
