THE THREE TEATER TEENS SAT ON the front of the stage, watching the cast practice for Liberty's play, Dracula.
Mr. Raditch had recently been replaced by Ms. Hitzilakos as principal, and she encouraged the three teens to continue the show. The teens were all ecstatic and eager for it to be perfect.
"Three beauties! Emma!" JT called out after the tall girl missed her stage cue.
They watched the girls recited their dialogue, and noticed Emma looking back at Jay, who looked at her from behind the stage.
The Roberts girl had just finished talking to Manny about her new relationship with Spinner, which the girl adored, and now it seems she'd have to have another conversation with Emma.
Practice ended soon after, as everyone went their separate ways. Baby chased after her tall friend, finishing her in one of the busy hallways, "Hey, Emma! Wait up!"
"Yeah?" Emma quietly replied, stopping so Baby could catch up
"Do you want to come over after school, tomorrow? I feel like we haven't talked as much recently and I want to catch up." Baby smiled
"Sure. Sounds fun." She softly replied
"Okay. I'll see you later, Em." The bid, before heading towards JT, who was waiting by her locker
"What was that about?" He asked, as he watched her entered her combination
"She's been a bit odd lately. I just wanted to make sure she knows she has someone she can talk to." Baby shrugged, picking up the items necessary for her next class
"Speaking of odd, you've been acting that way too. You know you can talk to me too, right?" JT reminded her with a worried look
Baby hesitated a bit, before coming up with an answer, "Yeah. Of course. I'm great, JT. I promise."

MRS. KWAN AND MS. HITZILAKOS decided to sit in on the next practice, and took the liberty of placing chairs beside the table where the three directors sat
"Act one, scene five." Baby smiled, letting the cast know where they'd begin
Manny and another girl began their scene, and the other girl quickly started to struggle with her lines. Emma called them out to her from the bleachers, and JT turned to his girlfriend with a small smile, "This is our leading lady? Three days to opening?"
"Just be patient, JT. She might be a little nervous. If it doesn't get better, then maybe we can brainstorm ideas." Baby suggested, Liberty nodding in agreement
"Perhaps we ought to take a break." Mrs. Kwan spoke, when things began to get a little tense between Emma and the girl who forgot her lines
